Situated right on the seafront, almost emerging from the surf itself, the Kristal hotel is at the very heart of Opatija. Wherever you are - in the hotel restaurant, by the pool or on the terrace shaded by wisteria, your gaze is drawn to the open sea and sparkling wave crests breaking on the hotel beach.
Our well-appointed rooms enjoy grandstand views over beautiful Kvarner bay and its islands, shimmering in endless blue.
Glittering blue, cheerful sunlight, the freshness of citrus fruits..... another perfect Mediterranean breakfast. Another crimson sunset adds extra flavours to dinner in our luxurious restaurant.
A taste of salt on the skin, the invigorating smell of the sea, soothing warmth of the water..... swimming in the sea-water pool - a pleasure always to be enjoyed, never mind the whims of weather or nature.
As you enjoy strolling here and drawing deep invigorating breaths of sea aerosol you will feel the pleasure that lures visitors like a
sirenas call to visit Opatija time and time again. A dip in the sea or a spell in the shade on the hotel's beach is the way to keep cool on even the hottest summer afternoons. On colder days you can relax both body and mind in the indoor pool, filled with warm seawater. After enjoying the sea you can also participate in several wellness programmes at the nearby Admiral Hotel.

Wonderful start to the holiday. Lovely view from the room window direct on the sea front, just a short 5 minute walk on the promenade to reach the town centre. Ideal location, parking direct next to the entrance of hotel, good breakfast, very friendly helpful staff. We would definately stay there again. Good value for money - but we stayed out of season. My husband went swimming with our 12 year old daughter found the indoor pool good.
