This room presented excellent value for money for a hotel of this standard. Room was recently refurbished with very modern appointments (flat screen tv, safe, cool artwork etc) and a quaint balcony that overlooked the sea. Breakfast was of a high standard and staff attentive. The location is at the far (southern) end of the main promenade of Opatija if you are coming in from Rijeka by car. Parking is not too difficult to come by of an evening despite claims to the contrary on blogs etc. The hotel has some car spaces available. Staff spoke fluent english and reception 24 hours. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel for the price point and would stay there again. If you are tossing up whether to stay in Opatija or Rijeka I would recommend Opatija for its old world charm and access to good quality restaurants

Reception employees could not answer on three simple questions; bar tender poured milk out of cardboard directly into our coffee on the bar; breakfast service disappointing.

We had a corner room with a balcony overlooking the Adriatic. There were hotels in front of us, but we were high up and overlooked their rooftops. The view was awesome. The hotel breakfast was one of the best we have encountered in our European travels. The staff was friendly and very efficient. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Worth it! Rooms are comfortable, clean and quite. Breakfast is super. Service is excellent. Parking is difficult in August, as anywhere in Opatija. No Internet available yet in the hotel.
