Hotel Kronio - Olympia

This family hotel is located very near to the museum of Olympia. Decent sized rooms, tastefully decorated with new looking bathrooms. Staff was welcoming and friendly and make you feel at home. They gave a map of the city and many hints about our trip to Nafplio next day. Breakfast was nice and had lots of choice. There is free private parking right outside the hotel.

The breakfast wasn't very good, but other than that the hotel was in the perfect location to visit the town, the museums and the archaeological site

Hotel Kronio was very nice and had the added bonus of free wi-fi. The breakfast, however, which is included, left something to be desired.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, l'hotel è stato probabilmente rinnovato in occasione delle Olimpiadi del 2004. Pulito, confortevole, con accesso wi-fi gratuito. Breakfast nella norma (ottimo yogurt).

Only stayed for one night but great Hotel, very friendly staff and convienient location for Olympia. I would definately stay here again... Book with confidence!! Even let me use the internet down stairs in reception for free to email family!...

This hotel has really friendly staff. The location is excellent being within easy walking distance of the site and museum.

The Kronio was an excellent choice. The family owned and run hotel was very accommodating and free internet was a nice plus. I would recommend highly. I would also recommend getting directions to and from Olympia from the owners. They are very nice in getting you there and to other locations efficiently. A 10 minute walk to the archaeological site and museum. In the heart of town for easy dining.

A good, basic hotel. Village of Olympia is walking distance to museum & site of ancient Olympia but little there otherwise, aside from souvenir/jewelry shops and restaurants/hotels. Hotel is easy to find, well-located, suited our needs perfectly. Simple but clean rooms. Owner (good English)went above & beyond to be helpful to us and even assisted us with getting bus to our next city and booking that city's hotel. Simple, satisfying breakfast with a rarity -- eggs! -- served by owner's mama (little English but very nice lady). Computer w/internet in lobby, no charge to guests. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you are looking for simple, pleasant accommodations.

I really enjoyed this hotel.The room was clean,staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely return and recommend to all mmy friends, exept the ones that insist on big box hotel.

It was realy ok

This was a GREAT little hotel. Very reasonably priced and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The only thing missing was a refrigerator in the room. It was very well decorated, clean and had a very large bathroom. Much nicer than the 4 star hotels we have stayed in during our trips to Europe. The breakfast was satisfying and fulfilling. This hotel is a "can't miss" and at an excellent price! It made us contemplate changing our whole itinery to stay longer.

The Hotel Kronio is a very fine hotel, especially for the price. An older hotel that has been remodeled, still it retains much of its character and charm. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The location is perfect for touring Olympia. It is a very easy walk to the museum and archeological site. It is also in the heart of the town of Olympia with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would not consider staying anywhere else.

My son and I stayed there for one night in December (off season.) The hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. The hotel is walking distance from just about anything in town. Great value for the money.

Hotel tres correct pour le prix. Très calme, malgré sa situation en centre ville, et proche des sites.

3 stars very nice hotel based on the main road of the city and quite close to archeological area. The rooms are clean, quiet, confortable and air conditioning provided. The staff is friendly in spite a very poor english speeking.

The people who welcomed me and my mother at Kronio were really great. Everything was perfect, the room was spacious and clean, the breakfast simply great

Nice hotel, but the elderly desk clerk was very slow and had trouble understanding the check-in check-out procedures. Rooms were a little shabby, but acceptable for a one-night visit. The Town is great, but is stuffed full of jewelry stores, leather shops and souvenier stands, but it is within walking distance of the ruins.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, room is probably a bit small for the 3 of us but otherwise the stay was brilliant. Nothing to do with the hotel - we took a taxi after getting off the train at Pyrgos at about 9pm. We were a bit afraid that we might not be able to find any transport but taxi from Pyrgos is quite handy.

Hotel Kronio is a good choice for a short or a long stay in Olympia. It is in a very good location, perfect for people coming or leaving by train (the station is a short walking distance). Also good for those coming by car or by bus. The rooms are clean and spacious and the best is the relationship between price and quality. A really good option.

Basic hotel, clean rooom but a little noisy. Not far from the archeologic site.
