On arrival the receptionist couldn't find our booking (it was under Venere.com instead of our name) and at one point we were told it was 'not her problem' - a great start. We then asked where the advertised swimming pool was to find the hotel did not have one, although we could use the one at a nearby hotel. When we turned up there at 4.00pm we were charged 39 Euros for two adults and two small children to use their facilities for a couple of hours - outrageous! I believe La Collina have passes to allow free enrty to the other hotel, but the receptionist from hell chose not to give one to us. Rather than spend another 39 Euros the following day we drove to Paestum beach. The hotel was OK, but the welcome and the outrageous situation with the 'swimming pool' left us wishing we had never booked.
