Dalla SS 131 (per chi proviene da Cagliari, Sassari, Oristano), svoltare a destra per NUORO e seguire subito le indicazioni per OLIENA ORGOSOLO;-oltrepassare una galleria, appena usciti fare freccia a destra,e svoltare subito per NUORO-BAD' CARROS, seguire subito le indicazioni per OLIENA-ORGOSOLO e poi OLIENA;
- arrivare a Oliena andare sempre diritti per circa 1 km e dopo il distributore ERG (alla vs dx) svoltare a destra per la circonvallazione a valle (attenzione in qs incrocio c’è una madonnina);- percorrere la circonvallazione per ca. 1 km e poi svoltare a dx e dopo 20 mt. subito a sinistra (c’è una piccola salita); - percorrere la circonvallazione a monte per 2 km ca. e poi svoltare a destra per Monte Maccione; -percorrere per 2,5 km una strada in cemento ed ecco Monte Maccione La strada è ben indicata con cartelli bianchi con scritte verdi
