Hotel De Plam - Olbia

Ideal for traveller's needs for their own and related services just like easy parking, near restauratsopen till late evening etc

It's surely not a 3star hotel, the air conditioner was broken, no hair dryer, insects in the bed....not a good stay!!!!!

The centrally located De Plam is ideally suited for those requiring a short "stop over" in Olbia. The rooms are very basic but clean. Staff were always friendly and competent.

Best placed near the harbour and only a few minutes walk to the bus station from or to the airport. You can choose between a room with view, but noisy, or quiet without view. Breakfast is rather basic, but o.k. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay in Olbia at the start or end of an island trip.

The hotel is ok, but lack a bit charm, more like "standard" city hotel. But very good availability to the airport, only 5-10 minutes.

Extremely kind staff. They allowed us into the room early and were patient with language differences. Great location from ferry. Decor of room not the best we had in Italy, but clean, adequate, and functional. I would stay here again.

Albergo bruttissimo, fatiscente.Camera che odorava di chiuso, piena di zanzare (eliminate una decina e tanti altri segni lasciati da precedenti avventori). Acqua calda inesistente piena di ruggine. Climtazzore che venivano spenti a livello generale giù dalla reception e solo dopo una telefenota per spiegazioni veniva riattivata. Colazione povera.Insomma hotel da evitare se non fosse per la comodità di essere vicinissimo al porto e al centro città.

Nel complesso si presenta ordinato e un buon rapporto di qualità prezzo

Hotel De Plam is the right solution when you arrive in Olbia by ferry and need a comfortable accomodation for the night

The Reception Staff were excellent which is more than I can say for the Breakfast Waitresses. Tables were not cleaned and availability of food was poor. On occasions we were made to feel as if we were asking a great favour when we arrived for breakfast. Management need to get this sorted

We had a warm and friendly welcome. For a short stay it is the ideal location. We woke up in the early morning with a delicious smell of freshly baked pastries! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It is a good hotel (price / quality) good situated in the center of Olbia and with a lot of possibilities to go to the north and east cost from Sardinien.

Though Olbia is too dull and little city where there was nothing to see and to do and we had to use cars all the time, the hotel itself is quite good for a day if you are on your way to somewhere else - close to the main city street and to the main bus stations.

*Rooms spacious and clean, but "cold", because floor paving in stones. *Breakfast rather poor. *Staffmember in breakfast: not friendly, she understands only the Italian speech. *One (female) staffmember desk office:correct, but what stern in style.

My wife and I stayed here for one night after flying into Olbia, bound for Stintino. For an overnight stay, it provides good accomodations, wi-fi, and a good restaurant. It's easy to reach and find from the airport, and is within reach of a vibrant downtown area by foot. We probably would stay here for an even longer-term stay than what we did.

This hotel and the surrounding area are not a good place to visit. I won´t recommend it even to my worst enemy. We didn´t know what was a the worst choice between staying at the hotel or walking around Olbia.

Ottime la colazione e la vista mare delle camere.

Quit and central location. Clean, large and comfortable rooms (we had a double and a triple bedroom). Easy to reach by car (even easy parking). Chose this hotel, if you don’t have a city map of olbia and if you don’t speak Italian (in case of asking for your way). Bus station to the airport is not far away. Employees very friendly.

The hotel shows its old age (forniture, plants, etc). But the managing people are very kind and helping.

Great breakfast, nice staff, great location (close to Olbia port and Olbia historical centre). Nice room, large bathroom with bathtub. Free wireless internet available at lobby and breakfast room. The only minor drawback: Centralized air conditioning in our room was not working good (looks like an old system that needs some revamping).

Hotel is a nice one for those who want to spend time in the city. Olbia is not a big city and few days are enough to see almost everything including shopping. The shopping and dining street is in walking distance. If you want to go to beaches, you need to have a car. Hotel got a comfortable and reasonably secure, free car park. The reception desk advised us a beach, namely "pittu longu" and it was the best of all beaches we found later.It is arround 8 kilometers from the hotel. The only small problem is the noisy high-way just in front of the hotel but it is relatively silent during the night. We enjoyed our staying, the staff are friendly and hotel is clean.

Bonne situation en centre ville avec jolie vue sur le port. Inconvénient : circulation intense côté mer. Bon parking gratuit. Petit déjeuner sommaire (plus de pain à la fin du service...)mais au total excellent rapport qualité/prix et excellent accueil.

A good hotel if you have to stay in Olbia for 1,2 night to wait the ferries

I and my 3 kids spent one night in this hotel. We had a spacious room overviewing the sea. Just in front of our windows there was a road ie easy access from and to the port and roads leading to the south and north of the island. We had no problem with parking, perfect for a stop when coming from or getting to ferry port.We had a good rest before starting our journey. Hotel for stop by, not really to spend seaside holidays.It was perfect for our purposes.

Il rapporto qualità prezzo è buono. Purtroppo l'hotel si trova in una posizione molto rumorosa anche se comoda al centro. La prima colazione è abbondante ma limitata solo a cibi dolci: non c'è la possibilità di avere qualche cosa di salato oppure frutta.
