Hotel Georgis Apartments - Oia

This is the single best room I've rented through Venere. Due to a Greek strike, our flight was delayed 16 hours and we landed at 0230, but there was Georgi Karras at the airport to collect us, waking up his donkey Utsa to carry our bags the long pedestrian trek to his place. He, his wife Tanya and his two staff insured we had a great stay. Most recommended!

Georgis appartments is located in the traditional village and you really experience it: I will not give you the punch but the is one. I travel a lot and the way we were welcomed by our nice hosts surpasses anything I saw before. The view from our balcony where we had our dinners at night was simply fantastic. Thank you Georgis, you do a very good job and you are VERY reliable.

A fantastic place to stay in Santorini. In a traditional village. Near enough to Oia to walk. Friendly people. Great rooms. Reasonable price. Quiet atmosphere. So relaxing. Having kitchens was fantastic as we were there for a week. Highly recommend this place!

The room was beautiful and the rooftop patios are great with a fabulous sea view of the back side of the island. It faces away from the caldera but the sunset is spectacular. The pool is smaller than expected and not very practical because there is no sitting area around it and it is 6 ft deep all around so you can only jump in, swim and get out, no lounging in or around it. It is quite a long walki from Oia but worth it once you get there.

The place has great price quality ratio. It is also located in a very beautiful area 10 minutes away from the craziness of the Caldera, which is absolutely great if you want to rest and also be close to the main spots. Georgis and Tanya are really welcoming. They both made a great effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recomended!

Georgis is a very kind and nice owner, who provided airport pick-up service with a very warm welcome. The room is also good, very clean, though the in-room facilities are not very new, and shower is relatively small, but the tidy environment actually delighted our trip in Santorini. Definitely will recommend this warm apartment to who're about to travel there.

Georgis Appartments is a quiet and beautiful place, in a charming tipical small town (finika) very-very close to Oia. Almost all appartments have beautiful panoramic countryside and sea views. Also sunset views. The rooms are very clean, have a simple good taste furnish, with A/C and a small kitchen. The service is excellent. Mr. Georgis and Mrs Tania are very kind and helpfulness people. Every morning you can enjoy a very rich breakfast. We recommend georgis appartament to people that love quite and genuine local accommodation, within a profesional and quality service. We have enjoy very very much our staying.

We had a brilliant 4 night stay (in my view, staying at the apartments less than 3 nights won't be worthwhile) hosted by wonderful Georgis and Tania. Both were helpful & friendly and keen to ensure that our stay was as enjoyable as possible. Don't be put off by the location (ie. there's no view of the caldera but there's a fantastic view of the sea & coastline to the north-west) or the short walk to Oia. Transport to any of the other towns requires a car or scooter (I didn't see any reliable & frequent buses...). We hired a scooter for EUR25 per day from shop close by & were so happy we did as this allowed us to make the most of the island. Our apartment was clean and spacious and the self-catering facilities were basic but more than adequate. Breakfast was simple - but a great stay overall, especially given the price & the transportation of our luggage to our rooms by "Junsis" the donkey! That said I could not imagine going to the island during high season!!

The hotel owner Georgi is very kind and helpful. We had an moto accident in Santorini, Georgi took us to the hospital and took good care of everything. The room is very clean and quiet, we had very romantic days there.

Very clean rooms, very calm atmosphere (no motobikes nor cars allowed in the village), sea view, tasty and generous included breakfast, nice owners (Georgis and his wife Tania). Excellent stay !!! The best is to rent scooter/quad/car to avoid the 15 minutes walk to Oia which is not a big deal anyway... Thanks again to Georgis and Tania
