Visit the Royal Estate at Caxiasand, an 18th century Palace with beautiful gardens, Poets Park, or the Fábrica da Pólvora, which once was a 16th century gun powder factory.

A good hotel with nice staff and a decent level of facilities. However, the location of the hotel is a little remote being based on top of hill a little way outside of Oeiras. For travellers who dont have a car the station is a 20 min walk which is a little inconvenient or can get expensive if you have to get a taxi there and back every time. Apart from the location a clean, well run and staffed hotel with good facilities.
