Enjoy a warm and friendly welcome at the Obertrauner Hof, located at the heart of the tranquil village of Obertraun in the Salzkammergut, a delightful 10-minute walk from the lakeside.
The Obertrauner Hof offers 12 spacious en-suite rooms, many of them with balconies, and the Glankowirt restaurant. It is an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding area, including Hallstatt, the Dachstein Ice Caves, the 5-Finger viewing platform or the many walking and biking trails.
In winter the extensive Dachstein West Ski region, with its 140 km of slopes, is nearby.
At the end of your day, enjoy an evening meal at the on-site restaurant Glankowirt, offering traditional Salzkammergut cuisine and friendly service.

There was no reception, but after a phone call staff arrived immediately. They are very friendly and helpful. There was no dinner opportunity inside, but new restaurant will open soon. It is not easy to find the hotel, because there are no official street names, only numbers - as in Venice - but without logic. The hotel is located on the main road, this may help You - so do not enter to the inner parts. Surroundings are exceptional beautiful. Breakfast is correct, coffee machine for free use. Beds are comfortable, bathroom is economic. We loved this place.

This was our first stay here and would recommend it to others. The room we had was very comfortable and had fabulous views from the balcony. The breakfast included in the price was very good and the staff had a wealth of local knowledge and advised on places to visit in the area.
