Azimut Hotel Nürnberg - Nuremberg

This is a hotel with a wonderful location from which to explore the old part of the city. the front end staff was very friendly and competent (with the exception of the restaurant recommendation) In it's price class a first class find.

We were in the front corner room of the building and while we did get some breezes in a particularly hot August stay ( a small fan in the room would have helped but noy offered)it was very noisy from the tram as you had to leave the windows open.

Clean hotel, good location, excellent breakfast. I was really satisfied.

In walking distance to city center, quiet and clean room

The location to the old city was very good. But with icy, snowy roads and paths, it was difficult to get into the city.The paths are steep. It was nice being on a tram route.

Very good location. Parking is not free at the hotel property. Everything else is exactly as advertized. Very helpful stuff.

A clean and comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town of Nuremburg. The hotel bar left a lot to be desired (they ran out of beer, had no nibbles - then were closed completely for a day or two!) It mattered not, however, as the old town was full of wonderful places to eat and drink. The Azimut is an excellent base for a few days in a wonderful city.

I booked a double room, they offered me smoking room with separated bed. Finally after a long discussion, I received a single non smoking room and we were supposed to sleep 2 person in a single bed !!!

The hotel is very near a tram stop making travel in and around Nurmburg very smooth. The server in the hotel restaurant was charming and helpful. A nice organic food store/bakery is next door. The head receptionist was a bit abrupt/scary, but I'm pretty sure she is all bark and no bite. I would stay here again.

The Hotel is situated near to the Old Town. The rooms were clan and quiet. We will probably come back for a longer stay.

The location is 15 minutes from old town and castel, walking distance. Quiet neighbourhood. We got a suite for the same price. It was our first stay at this hotel and I stronghly recommand it. There are few restaurants around. There is a underground parking for car.

This was our first time at this hotel and we had a little dificulty finding it but the experiance was very good overall.

Although location and reception were fine the room itself was another matter . Furniture was stained and generally dirty . Beds were uncomfortable with flat pillows , which we had to make ourself . When requested additional pillows we received what appeared to be soiled and used ones . Room service appeared to be non-existent and to give an indication of this maids were using what appeared to be an old supermarket trolley for pushing the supposedly clean sheets around the rooms . This is not something I would expect from a four star hotel and definitely not for the price paid . The hotel has failed to respond to my complaints and as a travel agent myself in the UK i will definitely not be recommending this hotel to any of my clients .

Excellent hotel. I would stay here again. I spent almost a month in German hotels, and this was the best breakfast by far. Wireless internet is available. Quiet area. Only a short walk to the old city museums and shops.

Manca l'aria condizionata ma a parte questo difetto l'albergo e' buono e lo consiglio. La colazione e' veramente ottima.

The location is pretty good.

Hotel very close to the city center. excellent accomodation for families with children.

We have had difficulty in finding the Hotel. We asked a lot of people and nobody were able to tell us where the Hotel or the street of the hotel was!! At the end we reached the Hotel location following and paying a taxi driver! This was the only problem we have had.
