ArtHotel City - Nuremberg

Very late review. This is an average business class hotel in downtown area, just a couple blocks away from one of the gates through the walls into the old town. Nothing real special about this place. Breakfast was adequate, but in a relatively small open area. Somewhat confusing to get to as there are (2) ArtHotels in Nuremburg and without a GPS it's easy to get confused on the Ring road. Staff was friendly, and overall it was adequate, but not exceptional.

They full me around! Art Hotel suppose to have a meaning!! putting few painting on the wall doesn't make it art hotel. The rooms are clean and roomy but there is nothing indicate that i have to pay 159 Euro per night for a standard poor student room.

Free parking was available, quaint location, breakfast adequate (at additional cost).

A good accomodation but in spit of the declarations not so clos to the city center, the web connection service is expansive and slow but the structure of the hotel is so much pretty, it's a sin the breakfast not included in the price, the parking service instead is free

Unfortunately, one of the booked rooms was full of ants.

Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Zentrum, die Altstadt ist in 5 Min. erreichbar. Alle Zimmer sind groß und hell, das Frühstück war hervorragend. Sehr freundlicher Hotelchef!

Wonderful accommodations. Bit difficult to find by car. Excellent location for walking to central city attractions. Excellent help

Found the hotel to be as advertised. Exceedingly clean, quiet, good, central location, not far from airport, underground or tram station. Easy 10 min walk into town. Only issue, no facilities in room for tea/coffee making and no bar or lounge facilities. So there really was nowhere to sit in the evenings. As my party ranged in age from mid-40's to late 70's this was a bit of a problem. We tended to congrate in the rooms, bu once there, you couldn't even have a cup of tea.

The hotel is a jewel: very well decorated, clean(very), with a strong structure, very capable to receive guests. Unfortunately it's not very well located (the Hauptbahnhof-the main train station) is really 5 minutes from the hotel-if you decide to reach it running!. In fact is about 350 meters far from it. Besides, the outside entry is poorly illuminated, which is a little bit dangerous for older people.

A lovely hotel in a quiet street not far from the city centre. The staff were brilliant, there was an initial problem with my booking, but it was quickly resolved by the receptionist and the manager. Nuremberg is a fantastic city with wonderful people. The Evertonians who went to the city for a UEFA cup football match enjoyed the experience totally.

Out of all the hotels we stayed in during our 4-week-long stay in Europe, this was our least favorite. We were amazed that it was rated a 3-star hotel! The noise factor was very bad-the sound echoed throught the halls every time someone entered a room. There were very noisy occupants in the next room the first night who came in very late--another bad night's sleep! We would not recommend this place.

My wife and I were traveling with our 18 year-old daughter. The room we had at Hotel ArtHotel City was very spacious with a nice private bath. The hotel is located within walking distance of the train station and the old Nuremberg Castle. We had a very pleasant stay.

This was a great hotel, but kind of a hike from the main train station. The room and reception was fantastic, but breakfast is not included in the price of the room (costs an extra 9 euros per person). Otherwise, great place to stay.

We arrived early in the day, and seemed to get the best room in the hotel (with its own patio). The room was non-smoking, had a separate entrance area with two steps down to a bedroom and door out to the patio. The bathroom had an excellent shower. Everything was very new (actually the light switch for the patio had not even been installed yet) - I think the hotel had only just opened (Feb 2007). The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the edge of the old town. It is situated between Plaerrer and Rothenburger Strasse U-bahn stations.

The rooms were very spacious and exceeded our expectations. It appears to be a recently renovated hotel.

La habitación y el baño son espacios, iluminados y limpios. El hotel esta bien ubicado, y las personas que lo atienden son muy amables. El desayuno bufete fue muy bueno. Lo unico que nos hubiera gustado es que se quedara alguna persona del hotel en la recepcion, ya que por las noches no se queda nadie de guardia en el hotel.

It's very good hotel!!!

Good value hotel, very warm rooms, good location within a few minutes walk of frequent u-bahn service. I would stay there again.

The receptionists for each day were extremely helpful with directions and places to eat or visit. They were both very upbeat and welcoming. I like how the gentleman offered us a cold drink upon arrival, as he could see we were very tired and hot. Thank you again.
