Gli spazi comuni all'interno dell'hotel sono stati completamente rinnovati e sono molto accoglienti. Le stanze non hanno ancora avuto lo stesso trattamento e appaiono un po' datate: in particolare i bagni. Nonostante questo le stanze sono molto pulite e con aria condizionata.

The Sandalia is a bit outside the downtown area, and seems to be undergoing repair (when we arrived, we thought it was actually closed). Nearby are a couple of decent pizzerias, but to dine, you need to walk ca. 20-25 minutes to the center. For all the hype about Nuoro being the art capital of Sardinia, we were a bit disappointed in it (maybe because it was January and cold), but the surrounding countryside is beautiful.

By car
From Olbia, Cagliari, Sassari, Alghero and Oristano: take the SS131 state road and exit at Nuoro. You will see the Sandalia Hotel on your left just before entering the town.
