This is a wonderful place to stay while visiting to Dolomites. It was a very nice, very scenic, and very relaxing place to have a beer and enjoy the area. The staff is very competent and efficient but speaking german would certainly be a plus for a visitor. I only wish we could have spent a couple more days here.

We enjoyed a friendly welcome and help with a suitcase up the stairs. Then 3-course evening meal was excellent especially at only E20 pp. The only slight negative was the roar of the river but it was cool enough to keep the window closed o/n.

This property is run by a professional and friendly family. The service and the food is excellent, and the wishes of the client are met perfectly. The prices are very reasonable. The scenery from the hotel is not so special, but you find beautiful places in its surroundings, and get good information about the Dolomites at the hotel.

The food weas always good (except for the orange juice, altho that seems to be true throughout Italy). This is our first time to this part of the Dolomites. We were in Madonna diCampilgio in 1997, but liked this area better.

The place is excelent! It's far from the closest town, but the bus stop is in the front of the hotel. Of course, a car is very useful in this region. I loved the landscape, the hotel and the very kindly personnel. I liked very much!!!

What a strange little hotel. I think the problem was that the innkeeper is set up for German or Italian speakers and he was quite discombobolated by our attempts to speak either German or Italian, and his command of English was very limited: he seemed quite flustered by us (we did not have this experience anywhere else in the Dolomites). There is a roaring river that all the rooms overlook, which is great because it mostly drowns out the incessant noise of the damned motorcycles from Germany that roar up the mountain just on the OTHER side of the river: I have never seen so many motorcycles in my life, and all without mufflers, it seemed. I would not stay in this town again (it is just a place for the motorcycles to zoom through) and would not stay in this hotel. It was clean and the rooms were pleasant, but the atmosphere was neutral at best, verging on unfriendly. Go the the top of the mountain and stay there--much more pedestrian-friendly.

The Adler is a very special hotel. The Putzer family treats their guests with great warmth and hospitality. There is a wonderful spirit of Gemuetlichkeit among the guests. Herr Putzer serves the delicious dinners himself. The location of the hotel is tremendous. Hope to visit again soon!
