My daughter and I stayed a night whilst attending an interview at Nottingham Trent University. The hotel was ideally situated for both the University and exploring the town. There is a public car park next door and I understand there is a discounted rate for hotel guests. The staff could not have been more helpful. We were made to feel welcome and were given very helpful advice. Should my daughter gain a place at the University I would not hesitate in booking the Welbeck again when we visit. Nothing fancy in terms of surroundings and room but all adequate and the friendliness and helpfulness of staff more than made up for it not to mention excellent value for money.An excellent find!

Over all hotel was very good. Being in a location so close to every thing that Nottingham City centre has to offer you have to expect some noise. Hen / stag parties at weekends etc.(Thats not the hotels fault. they have allow guests to stay)! Breakfast was good and rooms were comfortable and clean. Car park right outside hotel entrance which is very convenient for a city hotel.

The property is well located close to the city centre but as always with a city centre site parking is an issue and expensive in nottingham but i would certainly stay at the hotel again - breakfast was great - the top floor bar and staff are very welcoming

Each accommodation is finely decorated with a vivid green and gold colour scheme, with matching comforters and drapes. The large windows let in plenty of light, providing views of the local area, and can be opened to let in a fresh morning breeze.All guest rooms come with a small table area where guests can enjoy a meal sent up from room service or write to the family back home. Room amenities include cable TV with premium channels and pay-per-view movies, VCR, hair dryer, individually controlled air conditioning and heating, telephone with voice mail and dial-up Internet access, tea & coffee making facilities, iron/ironing board (on request) and clock radio.

How to reach Welbeck Hotel
By carFrom Junction 25 of the M1 motorway: take the exit at Junction 25 and follow the A52 to Nottingham City Centre. Once in the city, follow signs for City Centre North or Nottingham Trent University until you reach Talbot Street. At the set of traffic lights, go straight ahead in the left hand lane and after about 200 yards/180 metres turn left to the Talbot Street Car Park.
From Junction 26 of the M1: take the Junction 26 exit and follow the A610 into the centre of Nottingham. When you reach the city, make a left turn for City Centre North. This leads you onto Talbot Street. At the traffic lights go straight ahead in the left hand lane. After about 200 yards/180 metres turn left to the Talbot Street Car Park.
