Hotel Villa Favorita - Noto Marina, Noto

The first room shown was dark and dismal, the second was as well. Despite evidence of very few guests, we were told there were no other rooms at the booked price of 126 euros. We were then shown a room less dark (there were 2 windows) for 146 euros which we took because i didn't want to start looking again. The breakfast was mediocre- there was a large sign announcing that ordering espresso or capppucino would incur an additional charge. I asked for a second cup of regular coffee and was charged for it. There was a charge to use the internet. The breakfasts were fair- we had no interest in eating in the large and dreary dining room. The floor in our room (we stayed 3 nights) was never cleaned- there was grit on the floor and dirt behind the door. A teacup from the first morning was never removed. The bathroom was less than tiny with no room to put any personal items. The only positive was the swimming pool. We can recommend Restaurant Giulia and Cafe Siciliana.

Very nice hotel!

The room was fine and spacious, though a little short on facilities given the price (eg no glasses, had to ask for drinking water, no stand-up shower). The grounds were impressive, with a good swimming pool. The evening meal, though, was poor and we were forgotten amongst a large tour group. Stay, but don't eat...

Delightful villa, located outside the city among groves of fruit trees. Very quiet. A perfect get-away!

This is a super hotel. A beautiful place set around a peaceful courtyard with lovely rooms and a very pleasant restaurant and sitting area looking out over orange trees. The drive into Noto town is quite short - just a few minutes - so you can easily enjoy the peace of the countryside and the activities in the town in a short stay. My only criticism is that the restaurant meal was a little expensive compared with other hotels and restaurants in the same part of Sicily (I think it worked out at about €25 per person compared with an average locally of about €15).
