Pretty basic hotel. Main benefit was that it had a kettle - rare in Europe!

The accommodations were excellent. We were "upgraded" to a suite which had 3 balconies. The bathroom was superior to many 3 star hotels. The owners were very helpful and nice. We would certainly stay there again.

We spent 1 night in Nimes. Hotel is very centrally located so easy walking. Convenient parking garage, so no worry about parking. The room we had was very large and very adequate. The continental breakfast was very good. The hosts were most helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a good 2 star choice.

The hotel manager was most helpful. As we had an early departure from Nimes to Uzes, he provided us with tea and kettle so we could have a hot drink before departure. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for service, nearness to town and good value.

This hotel is managed by english family. I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my wife and a 10 years old girl. Hotel is about 500 meters away from Nimes train station. I had a triple room at 90 euros a day. Room was nice, clean and spacious. Washroom was spacious. Hotel's location was very close to Arena and other attractions. We did not have any problem walking to all the attractions in Nimes. I lost my camcorder at Arena. Hotel's staff was very competent and helped me find it. I am very satisfied with this hotel. If I visit Nimes next time, I will surely stay in this hotel again.

Great location - easy walk to station, easy to major attractions. Good clean hotel and staff were excellent - provided a welcome brochure in english showing everything i needed to know (nearby attractions, how to ue the free wi-fi, top 10 restaurants in area, laundry location etc etc). Good breakfast for 8Euro. Best value hotel i have stayed in!

Price had risen by a whole Euro from that quoted for garage, room and breakfast but I'm quibbling. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and value for money was excellent. Very close to all the must see areas of Nimes and the hotel well signposted once inside the city.

Walking distance from the station and yet only a few hundred metres from the Arena. Good price, good-sized room, air con welcome in the July heat. Obviously a family-run hotel as the welcome was very warm and everybody was more than helpful. It's on a fairly small street, so it's quiet at night - in fact the whole of Nimes is quiet at night. Good bar (La Bourse) opposite the Arena and a good Italian opposite the bar. Would stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel two nights. It was a family reunion for ourselves, our two young children and our older dauughter and her boyfriend so we took the suite (a quadruple) and a double. The hotel was very well situated, within a 10 minute walk from the main railway station which was also the stop for the shuttle from the airport. It was five minutes from the old town and with a pleasant restaurant, fruit shop and boulangerie just a few doors away. Our rooms were on the top floor. The suite was well-appointed and spacious with a particularly good bathroom. It had three outside balconies with views over rooftops. The chairs were plastic and there were some dead plants in the window boxes but it was still pleasant to be able to sit outside. Following other advice on venere we didn't try the breakfast but walked down the road for coffee and croissants. The Tuileries seemed fairly good value considering the horrible Euro exchange rate and the staff were polite and helpful if reserved. Nimes is a great town for 2 to 3 day break and we would certainly stay here again.

VERY helpful and friendly host. Excellent central location. OK it isn't 5 star, but it isn't 5 star prices either. The hotelier more than made up for any lack of 'extra' facilities. The town centre hotel location/direction signs made finding it very easy. Will use again without hesitation. Good food to be had in many places at the other side of the 'Arena'.

I stayed for two days in Nimes at Hotel des Tuileries. It was a pleasant experience : the room was spacious and very clean. I appreciated the fact that the room was warm when arriving. The only displeasures were that : the employee who was in charge of my room stops working at noon (as I was very tired, I wasn't awaken at this time so no cleanup of my room) and the VMC in the bathroom is very noisy. I recommend this hotel because it is relatively cheap and very confortable.

I thought there could perhaps be a bit more choice at breakfast. I know it's France and continental breakfast is usual but perhaps a boiled egg at breakfast would be nice occasionally (being British)! But nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel just off the main street in Nimes. A very enjoyable 4 day break. Would not hesitate to recommend it and have in fact done so back at work.
