Friendly, English-speaking owner. Convenient location. Very clean, but very shabby room. Reasonable value for money.

Very helpful and friendly English speaking hosts, lovely breakfast, room was clean and quiet, goodwater pressure in shower with lots of hot water, opening balcony door for fresh air, good tv reception, short walk to train and town centre. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.

Price had risen by a whole Euro from that quoted for garage, room and breakfast but I'm quibbling. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and value for money was excellent. Very close to all the must see areas of Nimes and the hotel well signposted once inside the city.

Good location (close to the railway station; we walked to all the the sites that interested us), gracious and helpful hosts, comfortable rooms. Make sure you visit the pizza restaurant around the corner for an excellent meal and atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Walking distance from the station and yet only a few hundred metres from the Arena. Good price, good-sized room, air con welcome in the July heat. Obviously a family-run hotel as the welcome was very warm and everybody was more than helpful. It's on a fairly small street, so it's quiet at night - in fact the whole of Nimes is quiet at night. Good bar (La Bourse) opposite the Arena and a good Italian opposite the bar. Would stay there again.

2 adults and a teen fit just fine. Pleanty of space. Garage was great and safe. Location is right near the center. Staff is great and helpful. Definetly and again.

We stayed at this hotel two nights. It was a family reunion for ourselves, our two young children and our older dauughter and her boyfriend so we took the suite (a quadruple) and a double. The hotel was very well situated, within a 10 minute walk from the main railway station which was also the stop for the shuttle from the airport. It was five minutes from the old town and with a pleasant restaurant, fruit shop and boulangerie just a few doors away. Our rooms were on the top floor. The suite was well-appointed and spacious with a particularly good bathroom. It had three outside balconies with views over rooftops. The chairs were plastic and there were some dead plants in the window boxes but it was still pleasant to be able to sit outside. Following other advice on venere we didn't try the breakfast but walked down the road for coffee and croissants. The Tuileries seemed fairly good value considering the horrible Euro exchange rate and the staff were polite and helpful if reserved. Nimes is a great town for 2 to 3 day break and we would certainly stay here again.

A nice, quiet hotel. The owner was very helpful. Only complaint was that breakfast was a bit expensive for what was offered.

VERY helpful and friendly host. Excellent central location. OK it isn't 5 star, but it isn't 5 star prices either. The hotelier more than made up for any lack of 'extra' facilities. The town centre hotel location/direction signs made finding it very easy. Will use again without hesitation. Good food to be had in many places at the other side of the 'Arena'.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in the 2 person suite at Les Tuilleries and were very pleased with the hotel. Very good location and and a friendly and helpful proprietor. It exceeded our expectations, represented good value for money and we would have no hesitation in going back there or recommending it to others.

I stayed for two days in Nimes at Hotel des Tuileries. It was a pleasant experience : the room was spacious and very clean. I appreciated the fact that the room was warm when arriving. The only displeasures were that : the employee who was in charge of my room stops working at noon (as I was very tired, I wasn't awaken at this time so no cleanup of my room) and the VMC in the bathroom is very noisy. I recommend this hotel because it is relatively cheap and very confortable.

I thought there could perhaps be a bit more choice at breakfast. I know it's France and continental breakfast is usual but perhaps a boiled egg at breakfast would be nice occasionally (being British)! But nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely hotel just off the main street in Nimes. A very enjoyable 4 day break. Would not hesitate to recommend it and have in fact done so back at work.
