The proprietors are very helpful and welcoming and accommodating. They make the difference. The hotel is comfortable but a bit out of the main part of town. But this also means it is quiet. It's a reasonable walk but generally it makes for a long day if you leave in the morning, see sights, stay out for dinner etc. Just requires some planning.
