One of the largest rooms I have experienced with kitchenette facilities. Staff was very helpful and made our stay very pleasant, in particular the hotel manager. Hotel is on a very busy one way street and one cannot park in front of it except for loading/unloading.

Stayed two nights at Le Cheval Blanc Hotel, staff were very friendly and welcoming, I forgot a power adapter and they gave me one to use while there. Great free internet service, hotel overlooking Roman Arena, which is probably the best view in Nimes. Only one small complaint our room only had a hand held shower in the bath. Fantastic restaurant of the same name attached to hotel, friendly staff, excellent food and wine list, and all at very competitive prices. This restaurant should not be missed if in Nimes. Nimes itself is a great place to visit lots of historical sites to see and things to do, great shopping also in the town center. Will be back!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Le Cheval Blanc where the staff were all friendly, helpful and attentive. The room was excellent with good facilities for self catering if required. Being at the front of the hotel it suffered from some traffic noise. The position was central for the town being opposite the Arena and near to all facilities. A most enjoyable stay in a good hotel which was well staffed. We would return without question.

Hôtel récemment rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Endroit vraiment central pour visiter la ville. Le restaurant qui communique avec l'hôtel est exceptionnel.

Excellent hotel in superb position. Easy walk from train & bus stations (shuttle bus from airport). We walked all around the old town - very atmospheric and great just wandering down the old streets. Do visit the Jardins de la Fontaine and the Tour Magne if you have time. We were two couples travelling together; our room (no.11) on 2nd floor was a good size and had fantastic view of the amphitheatre. Our friends' room (no.106 on 1st floor) was a bit smaller and possessed a reasonable view but obscured by a tree. It is worth checking about availability of kitchen facilities - we were originally told that you were given use of kitchenette (locked cupboard) only if you were staying a week. We were staying 2 days: our kitchen cupboard (very well equipped for what it was)had been left unlocked, but our friends in No. 106 had to ask for a key, which was provided. Very friendly and helpful staff, ready with a smiling welcome and help with any requests. If you like Italian food, do try Le Daniele, Place d'Assas (10 mins walk from hotel). All in all, a really enjoyable visit and we would happily stay here again.
