Excellent hosts, service and attention. My room was rather small and could definitely benefit from a fan or other form of ventilation. All considered, the location is good and fairly quiet, but getting to the amenieties in the centre of Nice requires good legs, although the buses nearby offer a frequent and econmic service.

The Victorine is a really well run small hotel owned and run by a very friendly couple,although a little way out of town there are plenty of bus's,and cheap too,would deffinately stay there again.

lovely small hotel , very clean, excellent welcome and assistance, big breakfast on the outside terrace , some rooms and bathroom very small, great quiet area to park freely, 3 min walk to the beach.

The hotel is a bit far off from the centre and buses do not run after 10pm, so be prepared to walk. There are a couple of pretty big supermarkets around but both close at 8.30pm. No kitchen facilties in room and no air conditioning - which is a shame as it gets pretty noisy in the morning. Staff were very friendly though.

The staff at this hotel were great! We arrived late at night, but it was no problem with them. They were very friendly, and answered any questions we had about the area. The location was really good too. Short walk to the beach. Grocery store a block away. Good places to eat also in walking distance. Parking was a bit narrow, but no problems with it.

Nice small hotel. The room is smal, but clear and comfortable. The hotel is a bit far from central (30 min by bus), the beach is 5-7 min on foot. There is supermarket close to hotel. Any way, we liked this hotel for this price.

After walking for nearly 2 hours (with our bags) trying to find the hotel we finally hailed a cab to find that the hotel was about 5 miles away from where the map indicated. Please amend your directions! The hotel was miles away from the eating places and up a side street not on the prominade as indicated. We had to catch a bus for around 15 mins then walk another 20 mins to a restaurant.

Very close to the airport, and quite far from the center. The train station St. Augustin is 5-10 min from the hotel, so it's easy to visit other surrounding towns. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms small but clean, very nice yard to have breakfast or to sip vine before sleep. Wifi was working ok in the rooms, but there's no signal in the yard :( Very nice stay if you are not afraid to walk a lot (we were not, never took the bus).

We stayed in many hotels in our 21 day europe tour. Victorine was undoubtedly the best. Gorain, Martina and little Gregory treated us like family and did more than what was expected to make our stay comfortable. They were great,the rooms are lovely, the service exceptional and so very close to the gorgeous sea.

The room was clean. We had a quad. It was snug quarters, but we were not there really-only to sleep so it was fine. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to a grocery store. Further than it tells you on map-to the center of town. Take a bus for a euro and no problem! Close to the beach. Good value for the money.

I knew going in it was a 1 star hotel. I didn't realize there would be no air conditioning and the wireless internet did not work in my room...so that was a bit disappointing. Everything else was better than expected. The owner is very friendly as is the rest of the staff. For a person traveling and looking for no frills place that is secure and doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a 4 star...this is your place! Again - my only recommendation is to improve the wireless internet, but otherwise, my room was well organized for the size (always smaller in Europe than U.S.). Also - there is a supermarket a block away and plenty of restaurants and the Nice promenade. Loved it...you can take bus to and from the airport for 1 euro each way. Otherwise, a taxi is no less than 10 euros.

Very clean and friendly place a bit far from bars and restaurants. Only problem was two motorcycles stolen overnight from the "secure" hotel parking area at the front. locked vehicle gate, bikes taken up steps through unlocked foot gate. CCTV not recording! Manager helpfull and ran lads who's bikes stolen to police station and later to airport to get flights home, also helped in getting flights.

We booked a triple room which was ok - the bathroom could have done with some work, toilet not fitted to floor & there was no hot water. Also we were informed the propietors were bi-lingual but this does not include English. We had great difficulty communicating with the lady there. But all in all it was basic & the price reflects that.

The Hotel Victorine is a very nice Hotel, our roOm was very tidy and well furnisched, not very spacious but quite. We have breakfast once and it was quite good. The location is not very near to the centre but is close to bus stop and a secondary train station.

the room was small and the shower room smaller still, the map given for directions was inaccurate, carparking was secure but there again small as it meant having to move vehicle to give access to other residents and pay 6 euros a night , I would advise tourists to choose Chambre D'Hotes rather than 2 star accomm as price includes petit dejeuner and free parking and spacious rooms.
