A small Hotel, clean, fresh linen and in Budget range. Stayed 3 nights (upgraded: single to a double room)...lucky me. Room COMPACT; especially if you would be 2 trying to man-oeuvre But with kitchenette a bonus. The shower - good water pressure on 2nd floor. The Staff, warm and helpful., Liked the small beach parasol and mat - for daily beach use, a nice gesture. Thank-you

I had a lovely time at the hotel. The room that my girlfriend and I got was rather cramped. Nevertheless, we had a cooker, a private bathroom and a toilet, a nice bed and a foldable table with two chairs. The location was great.

Very good position (5 minutes by foot to the main train station Nice Ville and 5 minutes to the Place Massena and the Old Town with the beautiful Promenades des Anglais), clean room, rapid wi-fi connection, very kind stuff always ready to help you with all the information you need. The hotel is to be recommended and in my opinion deserves a: 10(dix).

WIFI did not work. I did not succeed in logging in at all. Many others had the same problem and congregated around the router which was right outside the door of my room. The member of staff to whom I reported this was dismissive and blamed me for not reporting it earlier. Location was good, just off Av Medecin. The room was tiny (not enough space to stow away one suitcase - it had to go on the floor between the door and bed, meaning I had to step over it when going in/out or to th ebathroom.

I had to pay a service-price (cleaning afterwards) which wasn't indicated at venere.com. Rooms are very small but very functionable and quite newly equipped. Kitchenarea clean and practical. Bed ok, but only for one person, specially not for friends, perhaps for very close sleeping couples. Bathroom was clean. I missed a functional chair, some drawers and deposit in the bathroom. No TV, I had problems with wifi. Near to the most important shopping street wiht tramway, 15-20 min to the sea. To train station possible going by feet.

this is a brilliant hotel, centrally situated in Nice, just ten minutes from the rail station and ten minutes from the seafront, and in those room where there are catering facilities a fridge in the cote d' azure temperatures is bliss for a permanent supply of cold drinks. And just round the corner is a Momoprix with a a great foodhal for your eating and cooking needs. Staff great!

I stayed at the Petit Louvre hotel for 4 nights and thought it was a great based to tour the city and was in easy reach of the train station for trips further a field. The room and ensuite were compact but very clean and the bed was comfotable. The air conditioning was a bonus and as the window had double glazing the street noise was kept to a minimum. I would use this hotel again and recommend it to friends.

In five years of touring France using budget hotels this is the best I have come across. My room was clean with a separate bathroom, but best of all were two rings for cooking, supplied equipment and a fridge, something that should be in all hotel rooms in the south of France, so your orange juice and Perrier water is always cold. If this wasn't good enough the situation is almost perfect. It is thirty seconds from Nice's main shopping street, 10 mins from the beach, about 15mins walk to the Old Town, and about 8 minutes to the train station. There is a supermarket two minutes away for the ingredients for your cooking. The staff were wonderfully helpful and courteous and made my stay very pleasant and welcome.

I really enjoyed my stay at Petit Louvre. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the air conditioning worked fine which is essential in Nice during the summer months. Everything was included should a person wnat to do their own cooking etc. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the railway station where it is a 20 minutes ride to the airport on bus 99. The only thing I did miss was a room safe. Hopefully I shall be returning here next summer. Best Regards Michael.

Very basic and not overpriced. As soon as I got it, there are different types of rooms, I got the smallest and cheapest. It's really small, just no place to sit, the double bed is getting 80% of the room. For a single visitor it's ok, but for a couple it could be a little depressive. Pros: good location, 15 minutes walk to the old town and the sea, it's suite with the all cooking facilities and the fridge. Conts: They take 14e "cleaning tax" extra, which is weird, as usually you don't have to pay for it in hotels. But for this 14e they clean the bathroom and changed the towels and removed the trash bin only once a week. No cleaning in the room, no changing the linen, no soap in the bathroom for the whole week! Please notice that they have a weekly stay discount, but you cannot use it if you book over venere.com! It's also quite disappointing. You have to make a reservation by telephone.

My partner & I stayed in Nice for 4 nights & found the room & services provided by Petit Louvre perfect for our trip! It was a great location for the price; just off Rue Jean-Medecin & 10 mins from train station. And the staff were great and were happy to keep our bags after we'd checked out until our flight later that evening! The room was comfortable & compact with a well equipped kitchenette which we used several times! Room cleaning occurs every couple of days with fresh towels which we were happy with! We would definitely recommend staying here for people who want good value for money accomodation for exploring Nice!

My interaction with the staff was limited considering no one goes to Nice to converse with hotel staff - no offense. That said, any time I needed help they would bare with my poor French and always seemed friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent value for money spent.....great location...1st time we had ever stayed in a 1 star hotel and now recognizing that 1 star mostly reflects size and based on this stay I will look at the reviews of other 1 stars and give them serious consideration in the future

Great location, good value for money. The room is small, especially the bathroom. But everything is really clean and comfortable. Having the AC was very necessary in Nice during summer! The little kitchenette has everything you may need. However, must read the fine print posted behind the door that tells you to take out your own trash and do your own dishes! Good overall. I would definitely recommend it to budget travelers!

location perfect with transport links ideal for exploring the cote d'azure , welcome great, accommodation minimal but correct and excellent value though our room (double/twin) would be better described as "single/occasional double"...already discussing a larger room for our next visit
