Hotel Nice Riviera - Nice

Very helpful, competent and nice staff at the reception !

This is a very nice hotel. At first glance you may be disappointed but look further. The hotel may be old but it is clean and has great amenities. The staff is the greatest asset. They are beyond friendly and helpful. The location is terrific just a few blocks from the beach and close to good restaurants. I would recommend without hesitation and would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at Nice Riviera on May 2008, travelling for business. The hotel was selected on the basis of location-price-guest reviews. Very good location to visit Nice by foot. And if you decide renting a car, you will not have problem with parking. We had a car for three days, and always found some place to park nearby the hotel, so we did never use the hotel parking, which by the way is too expensive. If you find the prices are within your budget, then I believe you will not be disapointed. I wasn't, and I would consider staying there again.

Il cartello non disturbare non funzionava, entravano sempre per pulire la camera anche con noi dentro!!!!comunque tutto ok.

Hotel very comfortable room a bit small. Swimming pool not warm and small as also jacuzzi. On last day of stay in hotel watch taken from bed in hotel bedroom. Hotel has offered to compensate waiting to send it invoice and see what happens. Will reveiew comments if hotel compensates.

Helpfull staff though they did put us in a lesser type for room for first night and tried to say superior and executive with terrace they classed as the same room but when I pointed the room we had didnt have a teraace they moved us the next night with complimentary fruit and breakfast to make up for it. Overall we had a good stay but havent really found a hotel in Nice I can unreservedly recommend, here the indoor pool was small and very cold but the fabulous weather made up for everything and we will return to Nice, not sure what hotel..

Great central Hotel. I would say it is the equivilent of three stars, rather than four. Staff very helpful and friendly.Warning for those who dislike cold water, do not enter the pool. IT IS FREEZING.

We stayed in Nice for 3 nights in August this year. The hotel staff were very friendly in fact everybody in Nice was, the hotel was clean and despite 3 of us being in one room we had a lot of space. The hotel was in a good position and was close enough to the town centre. We felt it was very good valur for money.

My wife and I stayed at the Nice Riviera for 2 nights and frankly we were expecting the same type of accommodation we found in Cannes, The room was quite small; in order to watch TV from the bed you had to shut the door leading to the room first;the shower screen was broken, there was quite a lot of noise from the street. We found that the breakfast buffet did not correspond with the amount of money charged for it. We are not sure we will repeat the experience.

My friend and i enjoyed our stay here-we found staff pleasant and very helpful and to have excellent English!my friend and her family hope to return in the new year and i would not hesitate to book again

Very good location. Details exactly as it said on website. Air conditioning not working properly in room. Enjoyable stay.

The location of the hotel was excellent, half way between the train station and the beach and the market. The room was fine with a nice marble bathroom and minibar. I just never understand why the French and some Italians do not feel the need for shower curtains! It requires quite a bit of effort to keep all of the water in the tub and shower. The hot tub in the hotel was never hot or even above tepid. That aside, I would stay here again if I ever returned to Nice.

The swimming pool and sauna were much smaller than anticipated although for two doing laps in the pool it's fine. You are also on display to anyone in the restaurant or reception so you better not be too shy. Location is fantastic with everything within walking distance. Staff were very helpful.

We thought parking was included as part of cost, however it was an additional charge. This should be more clearly indicated in the info.

Probabilmente questo hotel si trova nel passaggio tra un tre stelle e un quattro stelle ( come dichiarato ora ). Ritengo che ci vorrà ancora ...del cammino!

Whilst good central location, we thought that the standard of this hotel was poor (particularly in comparison with the one you found us in Bilbao earlier this year) All the food at the buffet breakfast was tinned with the exception of the packet of fruit juice and the coffee was dispensed out of a machine - not what you would expect from a 3* hotel and in FRANCE> THE RESTUARANT SERVICE WAS PARTICULARLY POOR> Overall, a disapointing stay.

Due to lack of air conditioning, we had to leave the windows open at night. This meant that during the hours of 4.00am-6.00am it was very noisy from the street and our sleep was disrupted. However, staff were very courteous and helpful.
