The location of the hotel offers die opportunity to come to the city centre within seconds. Also the beach is very close. But it's not suitable for sunbathing because of stones instead of sand. But you can go to Menton by bus for 1 euro and visit the beach with a view to the old city.

The facilities are the worst I have ever seen. The rooms are dark as well as the hallway. One biggest complaint I have is that there is no lift available for guests, even though there is one for residents of apartments in the same building. In addition, the quality of cleaniless of towels is questionable because I saw how the hotel washes its linens. Despite the high room rate, I was offered the lowest quality of chattles, dark rooms and lack of towel service. I would not have stayed there if I had known the condition of the room and the hotel.

Sehr günstig gelegenes Hotel mit nettem Charme in jeder Beziehung. Angemessenes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Super gelegen, sehr gute Busanbindung zum Airport. 100m von der Haltestelle Promenade Anglaise unmittelbar neben dem Hotel Necresco und der Altstadt/Fussgängerzone gelegen. Hier würde ich jederzeit wieder Station machen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Hotel was a bit more than "50 meters from the beach" and one night the prostitutes in the street kept us awake with their arguing. Other than that, it was about what we expected.

By car
From the Nice Côte d'Azur airport and Marseille, drive along the sea front (Promenade des Anglais). After the Hotel Negresco, the next street on the left is Rue Meyerbeer.
From Monaco or the port of Nice drive along the sea front. The Rue Meyerbeer is the street on the right just after the Hotel Royal.

By train
On foot: from the railway station take Rue Gounod, for approximately 10 minutes.
By bus: take bus n° 12 and get off at Meyerbeer.

By airplane
From the Nice Côte d'Azur airport, the taxi ride to the city costs about €20,00.
Or take the bus Aéroport-Nice and get off at Meyerbeer (around 10 minutes, €3.50 per person).
