We found a lot of mold on the walls, electric wiring uncovered and when we explained to the staff that towels were missing and the room wasn't cleaned in two days, they answered: "ok, we'll clean it and provide towels" and nothing happened. In addition to this, room are totally unequipped with any form of acustical insulation. And there's no way to get breakfast, even with a payment, because the hotel has no space to serve any kind of meal.

Small and dirty rooms. Lot of dust everywhere, TV and safety boxwere very very old and obviously they didn't work...

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel near the station. The Miron gave me what I needed at an affordable price. If all you want is a bed for the night which can easily reached by the tram, this will be fine.

Staff was friendly. Very close to Nice train station and buses. Close to restaurants, shopping and 25 minute walk to beach. Could be alittle cheaper, but overall, a decent stay and good location for first-time visit to Nice.

The room had a very old-fashioned furniture and the bathroom was disgusting. Kind staff.

The staff was incredibly helpful - programmed a 4 am wake-up call, they called a taxi for a 5 am pickup to the airport, provided a map of Nice - all in all very friendly and helpful.

We stayed all over France and this hotel was the worst. We had to wait more than an hour to check in to our room, after we already left for an hour to buy them time to get the room ready. The room wasn't cleaned or vacuumed properly and the staff not very helpful. The public area were filthy and decorated in really bad style. The photo's were misleading and the hotel seemed closer to the beach on the internet. A good thing was that we had excellent air-conditioning.

Not a bad price. Location was in a bad area of the city. The noise level from outside on the street was terrible, lots of traffic. Difficulty sleeping.

I made this reservation for my friend, Pedro Guiterrez and his group of eight. I just spoke with him about his trip and especially the lodgings at the Miron. He was extremely pleased and delighted. He said that everything was exactly as it appeared on the printed web pages (I had printed pictures for him), the rates were as quoted, and the staff wonderful.

This hotel is cheap and nasty. It has a very convenient location but is set in an unpleasant backstreet amongst tramps and dog dirt - not somewhere to walk alone. Room 24 has ingrained dirt both in the floor, and in the ancient wallpaper (pieced together by drawing pins). The 'ensuite' bathroom was separated from the bedroom by a folding, broken and shredded door made of plastic (not much more than a shower curtain, which faced onto the main bedroom area and window. The toilet was broken. The one power socket in the room was inconveniently placed between the legs of a table and the bed base, and completely unsafe being stuck to the wall with tape and coming off the wall with each use. To top it all, an item of my clothing mysteriously disappeared during my stay. The maid entered each day to change the rock-hard towels, but the dirt in the room was too ingrained to clean away. There were no pillows on the bed and after complaint we were provided with 'used' and inadequate substitutes of what resembled a cushion each. Our stay was short and unfortunately we didn't have the time to look elsewhere. Do not stop here.
