Hôtel Magnan - Nice

Our room was at the 5 floor (No52), with balcony and sea view. Not very spacious but clean and with all necessary furniture and even with a small fridge. It was very pleasant to have breakfast in the room. Mr Patrick was very helpful and friendly. I can recommend this hotel to people who like to walk along the Promenad and don't like to live in noisy centre of the city. A tiny bathroom is a drawback but you get used to it after a while.

One of the few hotels we found that actually provides a double bed upon request! (Mostly you get twin beds pushed together.) If you ask for breakfast, they will bring it to your room and you can eat it on the balcony overlooking the sea; this costs extra, but no more than eating breakfast out, and we really enjoyed it! Friendly man at front desk gave excellent recommendation for a seafood restaurant for dinner. A little away from downtown, but served by buses.

This Hotel is not so next to the centre but it's very close to the seaside and the room we rent, though very small, has a wonderful view mer.

Rooms were clean and adequate. Cleaned and fresh towels every day. Owners friendly and helpful. Sunny balcony with nice view if slightly sideways of sea (on 4th floor. No public areas as such but just rooms and breakfast in rooms if we wanted (6 euros.Our room was on the 4th floor but there is a small lift available. En suite small but good head of hot water from shower. We were out all day only came back to sleep but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

we had a lovely 2 night stay here, the staff were very friendly and very helpful they even looked up times of buses and restaurants for us online.nothing was too much trouble. would definately stay here again. many thanks Andy and Liz

the only good thing to the location to this hotel, was it was close to a bus stop and beach. the area was a bit dodgy and alcholics where sitting out the front each night at the facing park. the room and hotel was shabby and could do with a lick of paint the bathroom was small and the shower area had no hook to hang the shower hose def not worth the money the traffic outside was never ending and i couldnt wait to get home and have a peaceful nights sleep very disappointed with this hotel.

The hotel actually does what it says on the tin - it is by the sea (not near the old port) not far from Nice airport. You must however remember that the road is very noisy and there is no air conditioning, but it is cheap. The rooms are very basic.

small hotel, price was about average for this type in Nice.Not much service on offer, no public rooms etc. Location wonderful with view of the sea. The Madame on reception was very friendly and helpful although we did not see much of her. This hotel suited our visit, but is very basic.

It's a very nice, small, comfortable hotel. We had a room with a balcony with a marvellous view of the sea. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The Owner speaks English. He was very helpful with local advice.

Hotel Magnan is in our view a very well situated hotel, especially concerning the beach and public transports which were important features for us. There are food markets and a restaurant around the corner which is important. There is no breakfast room or meeting place so guests are better off enjoying the rooms with a view and being independent. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Magnan.
