This is a great place to stay in Nice - the staff were great, the price amazing, the location spot on. Especially the price, you could easily pay twice as much without having such a good experience. It's a small hotel with not many rooms and I think that help keep it special.

This hotel was a hidden gem for the price. We only paid 45 Euro a night. It was very clean and spacious for a European hotel. The bathrom was also good size. The location was great - only 5 walking minutes to the beach, 5 walking minutes to the train station and a grocery store was right next door. We could walk to everything. The main bus station was also within walking distance if you don't mind walking. The room was spacious and clean. The only complaint would be that there were no TV stations in English. If traveling from the airport, be sure to take the bus to the train station, not the bus to the bus station(city center), as it is a much shorter walk from the train station - only a couple blocks. The front desk help was very helpful. Cannot check out and pay after 9pm or before 7am but that was no problem as we paid the evening before our early departure. We were very satisfied with our stay of 3 nights.

The hotel is located in a very nice area, very close to the beach and the main sightseeings. The bed linen did not give you the impression that they were very well washed. Also, the staff was not very helpfully with some issues ie parking, tourist information. Overall it was a very good relationship between price/quality and location.

I went to Little Palace Hotel with my girlfriend and stayed there for 3 days. The hotel was just like the photos in venere's website. Room size was ok for 2 people and the bathroom clean and freshly renovated. We didnt taste the breakfast though. The staff at the Hotel was willing to help us everytime we asked them something. They gave us a map and told us some tips about Nice, Monaco, Cannes which were the places we visited during our stay there. Generally a really pleasant stay!

Little Palace was a fine value and we had a pleasant stay (1 week). Reasonable space, nice modern bath, comfortable bed, all very clean and nothing shabby. No pretensions to luxury, but perfectly comfortable and welcoming and very appropriate to the rates. Walking distance (4-8 blocks) to beach, train station, restaurant hot spots, etc. Restaurant only for breakfast, no real lobby or in-house entertainments or lounge.

A very clean hotel with friendly and helpful employees, close (a few minutes walk) to the beach, downtown and train station. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was sterile and equipped, clean towels and pink (:D) toilet paper were provided every day. The conditioner in the room made an excellent job. Our room had a nice marble balcony with a magnificent view of the town. And I wouldn't believe I had this all in Nice for such a reasonable price.

The Little Palace is in a good location, within walking distance of the train station, beach, old town, and there's a small grocery store very close by. No complaints and good value. There's nothing special about the entrance, we didn't pay for breakfast, and there were no other services besides the normal maid service. BTW, don't take a taxi from the airport, it's too expensive. Instead, take the bus (either bus #99 which goes by the train station, or bus #98 which stops along the Promenade des Anglais; they're easy to find right outside the airport terminal).

The location of this hotel is perfect - straight down to the beachfront one way and on the way, to cafes and shops and the other way a 5 minute walk directly to the railway station. The rooms, although small were very clean and had a good bathroom and shower. The staff were very friendly and it was comforting to know that someone was on duty at reception all night. We chose this hotel because of comments from others in the website and would certainly recommend this hotel to any visitor to Nice. Thankyou Little Palace.

We stayed in Little Palace in September 2009. It's a great hotel, especially taking into account the rates. Location is very convenient: 5-7 minutes to the beach; 5 min to the Railway Station. Located in a very quiet street. Very handy supermarket next door! Strongly recommend!

Hotel was about half way between the railway station and beach. About 10 min walk from station. It was very clean and the staff were helpful when I needed information. Would have been nice to have a jug for evening drinks although there was no problem in getting hot water from reception when requested.

I visited Nice for 8 days. And find Hotel Little Palace as very nice place. It located between seaside and railway station, 7 minutes by walk for both, not far from old town and other main tourist places. Where are shop and restaurant near of hotel entrance. Window view is not a very beauty spot, but it not breaks your impression. Only one small difficulty I faced - room door is some hardly to close when you leave room and key has already unplugged.

Can be tricky to park around (there is a public underground parking nearby though) but the Little Palace name is justified by the glass and crystal lustres and marble-like floors. Location is really close to downtown nice too. We would recommend it.

A little gem!!!Great hotel we were very apprehensive as we usually stay 3 - 4*. It was in a great location five minutes to promenade and 5 minutes to train station. The hotel was spotless as were the rooms although a little small (france!). The only down was the breakfast we paid 8 Euros each for a youghurt, tea & croissants although the orange juice was gorgeous it was nowhere worth 8 euros. Air conditioned rooms were great and staff were very friendly and informative. Would definately stay here again and would highly recommend. Loved it!!!!!!!!

We had two nights in Nice and this was an ideal base to explore. It was a few minutes walk from the shops, restaurants and the sea front. The area around the hotel seemed pleasant, mostly residential, shops and offices. The room was clean on arrival and was cleaned during our two night stay. The air conditioning was a little noisy but essential. Overall it was quite expensive (note UK exchange rate poor at present) but then everything in Nice is expensive. It is difficult to eat 8 Euros worth of breakfast; there is better value in the local cafes.

The hotel is just inside the old city walls. It's a perfect location because you are right in town and only a 10 minute walk to the train station. The rooms are decent and the air-conditioning works well, but the walls are paper-thin. I would skip the breakfast and go up the street for a much nicer breakfast for 5euro.

Hotel was very good. Easy to get to from train station and only a short walk to main streets with bars, restaurants etc. Also close to the beach. We had a room at the back and it was very quiet on a night, room also spacious enough for two people. Bathroom also very good. No comment on breakfast as we went to a little cafe nearby that was cheaper! Reception staff always friendly and helpful. Would stay there again when in Nice.

Excellent location, 5 minute walk to the main shops, bars and restaurants and the beach. Only 10 minute walk from the old town area. I have stayed at this hotel two years running, but this time it was very noisy - sounded as though there was lots of early morning drilling and moving around of heavy furniture every day! Would stay again though, due to location and price.

We enjoyed Nice just for two days, but the location of the Hotel facilitated our stay. The Promenade des Anglais and other attractions were very close to the building so we didn't use the car at all. Room clean and neat. Wireless connection available without registering. The hotel does not have a garage, but there are public parking spaces in the surroundings (along the streets or underground, but not for free). Definitevely a very good two stars...

Dear Sir, The reason why I`m very dissapointed is when I choose the hotel for us I first checked the location by the address of the hotel. I made a reservation into to the hotel Le petit Palais, 17 Avenue Emile Bieckert Nice. I made a reservetion throw you system and I was on that hotels page. There were not any information that the actual hotel will be totally different. When we arrived to Nice I found out that you had mislead me. I made a reservation into three star hotel and got two stars? No photos, nothing showed me the real situation of my reservation. If that is not cheating what is? If I had made a reservation to Little Palace it would have been ok but now I very dissapointed. The Lady who takes care of the rooms is a treasure of Little Palace! She did excellent job! Location of this hotel is very good.

Nice breakfast area and very convenient in Nice and to the train station. Staff welcoming and provided a good map of the town. Security is good also. Internet did work in the room and is free (compare Ibis where you have to pay for wifi) Minor issues: Street noise high so I couldn't really open the window at night....Shower could have a curtain?

Wifi although advertised as available throughout, did not work in my room on the 5th floor. I had to go to the lobby where it worked perfectly but was not as convenient for me. Although I was staying 6 days at no time did they offer me another room where it would have worked. Otherwise it was a nice hotel if a little overpriced compared to other places I stayed on a 5 week holiday, taking in the UK, Italy and France.

We were very happy with the Hotel. It is in a prime location for exploring Nice. It is half way between the Train Station and the water. It is an easy 10 minute walk to old town Nice. There is nothing directly around the hotel you need to walk maybe 5 minutes if you wish to get a different breakfast than their 8 euro breakfast. It seems you can find better for half the price just down the street if you want to venture out. The room was clean, nice tile bathroom with plenty of room; overall the main room was a little tight for the 4 of us with our luggage. Unless you plan to spend all your time at the beach Nice is a nice 2 day visit. We spent a nice day at Neptune beach it seemed to be the most reasonably priced most item were included, chair, parasol, and cushion. A lot of the other places would charge for individual items. The public beaches are just as nice but you will need to bring or buy a bunch of stuff. So for a couple of days paying for the private beaches is a lot easer then bring/buying beach items. For great choices for dinner turn right out of the Hotel and walk down to the city walk via Rue de France/ Massena. Restaurants line the streets. If you continue down and follow the signs for old town you will end up on Cours Saleya. This wide open area is lined on both sides with all different types of cuisine. Even though it is a nice hotel for us with 2 older kids 18 & 22, it was very cramped with the luggage; also no lock box was in the room. So for a single traveler, or couples this would be a better property.

Pleasantly surprised to be admitted to rooms on arrival at 11 a.m. ,having missed night's sleep due to early flight. Rooms perfectly clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Close to beach, shops and restaurants. Only negative was the fact that shower(in bath) did not have curtain. Apparently this is a common feature of hotels in France although I had not encountered it before. Room was reasonable size ,as was bathroom. Would stay again at this hotel.

This was the tiniest room we have ever stayed in of all the places we visited in Europe. Even without our bags, we would bump into the walls or each other if we tried to pass. The bathroom was clean enough but the location of the showerhead was weird. You had to hold it with one hand to take a shower and that of course sprayed water all over the floor. Location was not much better, it was about 2-3 blocks away from the train station and also from the beach. Overall, for the price you pay, I would expect a better room. Lucky we only stayed for 1 night.

Little Palace was a lovely place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised that everything ran smoothly, the staff were polite and helpful and the room was spotlessly clean. We were never disturbed and our room was perfectly quiet. The en suite bathroom was spacious too. The only very minor problem for me was the slight lack of coat hangers! We could walk to the beach in 7 or 8 minutes, and always stopped off at the pretty little boulangerie a couple of streets down, called 'G' (Artisan, Boulanger, Patissier) which sold delicious croissants and well-stuffed baguettes to us every morning. We are a couple in our mid-twenties but would recommend Little Palace to anyone.

Good location, 10 min walk from the railway station/aerobus with luggage, 5 min walk barehanded. Same 5+ min walk to the shopping/restaurant streets and Promenade des Anglais. Friendly staff (at least when you had some knowledge of French). Clean rooms, quadruple room a bit small with 4 beds, but we didn´t come to Nice to spend time in a hotel room, only to sleep there. Situated in a quiet street, in quarters that you felt safe in, at least until midnight (we didn´t walk the streets later than that). Only minor complaint was the shower: there was no curtain/cover in the bath tub, so when 4 people took a shower one after another, the bathroom was full of steam and the floor so wet. Overall a very pleasent stay and the price/ quality ratio was good.

We picked this hotel because of the good ratings, good price and the location. (Not too far from the rail station or the seafront.) We found that it was even better than expected. We stayed on two consecutive Sundays and on the first stay were given a room at the back of the hotel overlooking a courtyard. This was bigger than expected with two double beds and was also exceptionally quiet. On our second stay we had a slightly smaller room with a double and a single bed. This room was on the front of the hotel but was also very quiet considering the closeness to the road. We also found the continental breakfast gave a good selection of healthy food to choose from. We will certainly make this hotel our first choice on future visits to Nice.

A 5 to 7 minute walk from the train station to the hotel. From the hotel, 5 minutes walk to the sea. Good location. I was there for easter weekend, so the city was quiet (except for vieux nice). My room was facing away from the street (because i do not like hearing road noise) and the room was very quiet. Walk down Ave Baquis three blocks towards the sea and turn right at Rue Joffre (or was it the next at de la Buffa?). About 20 feet later is a great Lebanese Restaurant. you can get a great take-out shawarma or a full meal. Mmmm Good.

The area surrounding the hotel is not very tourist oriented but it was a 15 minute walk to the train station and very convenient for traveling to Cannes, Monoco, and other cities located along the coast. The bus from the airport stops in front of the train station about 15 minute walk from hotel. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was more than adequate each morning.

We have stayed at this hotel on previous visits to Nice, and have always been very satisfied. It is very clean and comfortable, and is in a truly great location(5mins from both station and seafront). It is very quiet, has no lounge or restaurant, and the only person you need see is the 24hr receptionist. Breakfast is available, but we have never tried it, as we prefer to sit at a pavement cafe. We will certainly use this hotel again.

Nice Hotel, very close to the centre of Nice, in a quite street. At 50mt the is Mozart Parking where you could park you car for 3 days at about 55€. The rate price/quality is excellent.

A pleasant enough hotel for an overnight stay but overpriced considerihg the size of the family room and the barely adequate buffet breakfast

Very nice, I liked the breakfast real orange juice and a good French breakfast. The rooms where god and clean and reasonably quiet and service was nice and the staff spoke reasonable English. And it is located in a residential area on a quiet street. And it’s close to some nice shopping and the train station, and also to one of the tramlines. And not that far from beach. I would definitely come again.

We were at your hotel only for one night in transit for Paris. So we didn't have much time to evalue many things. I can tell for being in Nice in 2005 for 16 days that the location of your hotel is very appropriate.

Stayed 1 night in October, the nicest of the 6 hotels we stayed in as part of an 11 day tour. Great location, easy safe walk from the train station and just 3 blocks to the restaurants and shops.

Good location to railway station and sea front. About 10 minute walk to each place.Front desk helpful and pleasant staff. My request for a quiet room was fulfilled. Clean but bed linen and towels tired. Breakfast usual continental type in pleasant environment. 9 euros. Buffet style help yourself to as much as you want. Would stay here again. Hotels in Nice not cheap so good value for position.

We had a wonderful stay at the little palace. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. The Hotel is within easy walking distance to the train and the bus station, and close enough to les promenades des anglais.

Terrific little 2-star hotel in the center of Nice, close to the train station, main shopping streets, and the Promenade des Anglais. Rooms are a bit small (though mine was a single, so that could be why) but quiet. Hotel staff was quite friendly and very helpful. A very good buy for the money.

This is a very well located hotel close to many things in Nice. It is spotlessly clean but the linen is tired and old and the towells like sandpaper. The staff are helpful if asked but lack personality.

Great place, great location, excellent value for money. The only (very small) item that would make Little Palace perfect - they need to talk to their laundry people about using fabric softener on the towels. They were a bit scratchy. Apart from that Little Palace was a wonderful place to stay and very convenient for everything. Distance from the station is about 5 blocks, easy 6-7 minute walk but if you have lots of luggage be aware that it's a bit further than "a few metres". We thoroughly enjoyed Little Palace and would stay there again without hesitation.

We really liked the balcony in our room. And the proximity to both train station and ocean is great for people wanting to save some money on cab fair.

Hotel location is perfect. Near to station and near to beach. Although the room was bit smaller (may be because we have a baby) but were clean. They are good enough for couples. The staff was co-operative. Only problem was in the bathroom a bit leakage. Will really recommend this hotel for everyone who are making Nice as a base to visit places.

Stayed in Nice for 3 nights. Our room was very clean and the maids cleaned every day. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.Ideal location close to train station and a walk from the Promenade Anglais. This hotel is basic but great value for money as we were out sight seeing all day . Will go back next year
