Fab location and friendly helpful staff. Room was nicely decorated but there were no drawers for clothes.. only a hanging wardrobe. Little space in bathroom beside basin for toiletries. Room a bit small but shower was huge. Separate toilet very small with no basin. Overall a good hotel in wonderful location which , with a few changes, could be excellent.

Has been recently refurbished and rooms and ensuite facilites all very new. Shower was excellent. Staff were very welcoming. Location is just a few metres to the Promenade des Anglais which makes the 20 min walk into the old town very pleasant. I would have no hesitation booking there again.

They have done a fantastic job with the renovations at this hotel, formerly called The Marina. It is virtually brand new. My only problem was that the people in the room above me seemed to be stomping on the floor incessantly, and I should have complained but didn't. I'd recommend this hotel anytime.

The staff was friendly and rooms clean. What triggered my reaction was the extra charts for b'fast!!! the was no buffet only croissant and bread with butter/etc and charged 10 euros per head. I don't mind paying but at least give a buffet even though a room @ 130 EURO'S should have b'fast included or at least this type of b'fast. Overall it was nice and close to the beach.

The room was way below expectations in all aspects. Very small, less than basic, unwelcoming and noisy. After complaining to the guy at the reception we were told that this is what you get for the cheapest room. This is definitely not the way to keep the customer happy and please note that at 109 euros/night the room rate is not cheap. Upon asking to see a top of the range room we were shown into a slightly larger room but it was still below standard. The guy at the reception was totally useless and would not offer any help since the full payment was already carried out. The hotel could not care less as long as the price for both nights was pre-paid. We packed up and left to another hotel 3 mins away but way better both in comfort and professionality with customers. Totally unlike Hotel Marina. If you can stay away please do.

Rooms need more attention to cleanliness, paintings deteriorated, poor combination of colours, bathrooms with poor fluor and tubs, scratched doors, dusty halls. In all, your hotel needs urgent renovations.

Hotel Marina is well situated, 2 min from the beach and all shops in the vicinity. A 15/20 min walk to the city center. The room was very clean, bathroom brand new and very comfortable. Very nice staff (especially the lady serving breakfast). The only drawback was for me the poor wall acoustics. Noise did not come as much from the outside as from the neighbouring rooms and I hate to hear neighbours speaking .... Nonetheless a good value for the price paid. Would recommend Marina for a short stay, basic comfort for a good price in Nice.

Hotel clean. Rooms very simple and not to pretty. Good size bathroom. Excellent location - about 100 meters to the beach. For breakfast there's only marmolade - no eggs or cheese - typical french breakfast.

The elevator was tiny, and I think that I got the worst room in the hotel, because it was nothing like what I saw in the pictures, it was falling apart and the bathroom was nasty. I saw some of the other rooms and they looked a lot nicer though. Also the parking situation could get nasty. You have to leave your key at the front desk when you leave the hotel, which I found quite strange. There are also a lot of prostitutes on the streets nearby later at night. I would say that this is a good place to stay if you are young or don't plan on being around your hotel that much during your stay, as I was. The staff is very nice though.

The staff were lovely but we were unable to see the manager, which was a problem as all the electrics went off in our room as we were getting ready to go out for the evening. The poor girl covering on reception tried her best but we had to move everything to a different room in the dark! When we asked for compensation the receptionist pretended not to understand us. The rooms we were originally given were pretty awful so we had already moved once. The pictures on the website do not reflect any of the rooms we saw. The hotel is in a good postion but that is the onl positive.

Disappointing overall. Room was extremely difficult to move in, badly laid out and very noisy. Staff were reasonably friendly but hotel really didn't offer any services or go out of its way for client on anything. We left after 2 nights of 6 and found much better value round the corner on the Esplanade.

Hotel staff very polite and professional. The yard is OK for parking. We could see the sea from our window (at about 150 m). Supermarket across the street. Dogs allowed for free. The room is EXTREMELY SMALL. Shower & sink in separate room from the toilet - would need to be renewed. Beside the size of the room, the rest is OK. Overall, a bit too expensive for the small room they offer.

nice place, friendly personnel. tried to sleep with balcony open - too noisy. but the air condition is fine. the toilet in our room was separated from the bathrom and so small that we can hardly close the door when inside)) sea - 1 minute walk. free parking, saturday night - have to park in the city as the hotel's one was fully stuffed. well, great correspondence of price vs quality, clean, small and cosy hotel.

Hotel Marina is for those who want an easy access to all the city's attractions and especially to the Boulevard des Anglais. An Intermarche is located just across the street and one can find idyllic boulangeries and patisseries within walking distance. Over all location is great and the staff is exceptionally friendly! ;)

This hotel was pretty average. We stayed in several 3 star hotels in France and this was the poorest. Having said that the staff where very friendly & helpful, and parking was a big bonus. Just the room was very small and not very nice.

Very convenient location; it is easily accessible by car, only one block away from the beach and just some 15 min walk along Promenade des Anglaise to the city center. Private parking is included and there was indeed space to park! If I leaned out of the window and looked to the right I could actually see the Mediterranean! As of the grade of comfort in the room there is really nothing special - you get what you are supposed to, but there is no any character to that, it is neither cozy nor trendy. A disappointment was the WiFI that is supposed to be offered in the lobby, but the staff never managed to make it work for me. Overall impression: OK to spend a night on a business trip, but for a vacation stay you probably want something with more charm.
