As a single female traveling alone, i loved this hotel. It was a fair hike from the train station, but it was in a fabulous location, the staff were very very friendly & it was a 3 minute walk to the beach on a very busy pedestrian street filled with cafes & fruit markets. It is a street north of the main pedestrian walkway with all the shops, restaurants, cafes - everything you could want!! it's also very close to the main square & the old town of nice - it's a perfect hotel for people on somewhat of a budget. very safe & very well located - would completely recommend this hotel - the rooms are very small, although in nice i don't think you want to spend much time in the hotel - the city is gorgeous!!

A mother and daughter spree. Letizia in the reception gave us a warm welcome supplied with a charming smile and loaded with wonderful french humour. We were on a short spontaneous visit to Nice - and Letizia's quick and helpful guidance to the city - was invaluable. For the category of the hotel, the accommodations were good. A quaint and unique little hotel. The room on 3rd floor covered our needs and everything functioned. Unfortuntaley, we were only in Nice for 2 nights. The hotel is perfectly situated and in walking distance from the main attractions. We enjoyed our short stay - and will come back to La Petite Sirène.

The hotel is really quiet and best situated: 5 min to the beach, 2 min pedestrian zone, 10 min old town; air conditioned rooms - wonderful!; unfortunately the hotel did not replace things being stolen by former guests (mirrors in bathrooms); not very difficult to find parking places near the hotel (garage vis à vis of the hotel is quite expensive); prices are really high in summer time (as everywhere in Nice)

stayed in apartment , smell that greeted us when we arrived was very unpleasant, problem with drainage or sewerage ,not sure ,they changed something in the shower which alleviated it somewhat but not sufficiently, very off putting, otherwise the general cleanliness was good.the apartment was very basic and found it to be too small to cater for four people comfortably.I found the staff to be rather curt and unpleasant after we were trapped, unaided and unheard in the lift for 15 minutes ,and only for another couple complaining it was broken we might still be there!there was no apology forthcoming or enquiry as to our wellbeing it was a traumatic experience for my partner who has a fear of confined spaces. The one positive was the location was excellent.

Pleasant and comfortable hotel, well located for town and beach (but more than the advertised 200metres). The room was clean and the bed comfortable, though furniture is quite basic and the bathroom very small. We booked a room with terrace - nice to sit outside and relax with a drink before going out for the evening. The air conditioning worked well - the room was quite hot at the end of the day but cooled down in about 10 minutes. Breakfast was a simple continental type but only 6 euros - we were told on arrival (not the 10 euro advertised for buffet). A small niggle - the price is advertised as 'including tax' but in the hotel policies it states city tax is not included - it's only a small amount but is per person per day so take note if you are on a tight budget. There are plenty of shops and places to eat out nearby. The directions to the hotel could be more detailed - we took the bus from the airport and fortunately noticed rue Maccarani as we passed - there is a bus stop about 100 metres further along rue de marechal Joffre.

Within the hotel there is a steak house open to the public and not specified in the web presentation. There is no correspondence among price and type of the room: this was extremely small and poorly furnitured. Beds were confortable and apparently clean. The bathroom was minimal and wet and conveniencies not hygenized. Air conditioner was efficient but very noisy. Instead of a double room I was assigned a twin bed. I do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location - close enough to the beach (though somewhat more than the advertised 200m!), but still close enough to both the new and old towns of Nice. The hotel was very quiet and the night staff were always friendly and ready to let you in no matter what time you got back from a night out. The road to the hotel is a little quiet maybe for a woman on her own to walk down very late at night, but otherwise the area is good. There is NO private parking at the hotel even though it is advertised on the hotel's website. There is however a Vinci carpark right opposite it, but the cost of a week's parking is quite high. The staff were generally quite helpful.

We chose the "Garden Room" option which was the only saving grace. The room was adequate with a decent bathroom but it was the terrace which made the two night stay bearable. It was nice to sit out but the PVC furniture was in a bad state of repair with the chairs cracked from exposure to the sun. Potential guests arriving by car should also be aware that the car park opposite the hotel charges €23 per night. So on top of the €298 hotel bill there was a €46 car park charge!! Expensive for what it was.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. It was a bonus having the room kept cool during the day for us to return to after a long hot day's walk. Decor was homely and pleasant. Breakfast was more than ample and the variety was very good. Location from the train station was very walkable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, double room on first floor, would have preferred higher for security purposes, as window looked out on roof next door. Great steak restaurant at hotel but please note closed Mondays. Plenty of othe eating options in Nice. Close to everything, 5 mins to pedestrian district and promenade
