Hotel Interlaken - Nice

Not expensive hotel but far from the sea and from the center. There is a much nicer hotel one street after. The rooms are really too small!

The hotel is easy to find and so close to the train station. It's only a 10 min walk to the beach. The owner at the reception are very friendly and welcoming!! the room quite small but clean & ok. (they forgot to change towels the next day, but I didn't ask for another). I would stay there again.

Hôtel pitoyable et très sale (moisissure, électricité plus aux normes, WC très sales...) Nous ne le recommandons absolument pas, nous avons pris des photos pour prévenir les services d'hygiène de nice.

Il bagno è strutturato male, ma almeno c'è il box doccia. L'albergatore parla italiano abbastanza bene. Il chiassio notturno il sabato sera è dovuto alla presenza di uno strip club sotto l'albergo.

The location of the hotel is great, as everything in Nice is easily accessible, especially that the railway station is just across the road. Though I would not recommend women to walk alone in the area in the evening hours or at night. The owners of the hotel look to be nice, though they wanted to trick me with the invoice, but it was easy to discuss the difference with them. Other employees are though completely incompetent. Breakfast is poor, do not take it, go rather out to the city and choose a charming French cafe to have a real French breakfast. As there is no air condition, at summertime it can be extremely hot in the rooms. Be ready to climb the stairs, as there is no elevator. Take some cleaning detergant or wipes with you, my first action was to reclean the bathroom...for this price in France it is better not to reclamate...bedsheets were also "interesting"...hair everywhere...and not mine... Just to put in the nutshell, this hotel is greatly located, and not expensive compared to similar properties in the peak season, for 2-3 night it still goes...for a complete holiday I would not go there, but be ready to clean the room by yourself upon your arrival, and always check the invoice. Do not take children there...because of the lack of disinfected areas, not even to mention the sex shops and night clubs in the neighbourhood...but anyway I love Nice so much, that it was not a problem just to sleep there a couple of nights. Next time I will choose another one, that is for sure.

A very noisy hotel given its location across from the train station and being adjacent to a main road and tunnel. What was really disappointing was a sex/strip club in the basement and being awakened at 2 am as the patrons/employees would be leaving and shouting /screaming. Avoid this hotel at all costs!!

The shower in our room had the rising rail unusable as (1) it was very loose (2) no water would come out if the shower head was lifted that high. The control also was very loose and there was no hot water. Two of us had a cold shower, but there was no water at all for the third of us. The reception person was uninterested, did not investigate and just shrugged their shoulders. The washbasin was loose and similarly had no hot water. We had come to visit a friend who was performing in Monte Carlo and we spent the night in her hotel room, which she very kindly vacated for us. We returned to the Interlaken the next day and found that nothing had been done with regard to the shower. The front desk staff knew nothing about the problem. We therefore cancelled the remaining 2 nights we had booked. We received a refund for the 2 cancelled nights but no refund was offered for the night the room was unusable. We intended returning home early if we could not find alternative accommodation, but were lucky to find an excellent room, although slightly more expensive, at the nearby Ibis Nice Centre Gare.

The rooms on the ground floor have a lot of noise from the street.
