Hotel Interlaken - Nice

This hotel is about the cheapest you'll find in Nice, but I strongly advise you spend an extra 10-15 Euros a night on a 3 star hotel which will be cleaner, quieter, cooler (room was very hot & stuffy) and nicer, where the drunks don't hang around outside. Saying that, if you can't afford to spend a bit extra, this place has a bed, a shower and is located close to the train station.

We stayed 5 days at this hotel. The room was really hot and we had a ventilator that clearly was not enough. The room toilet was not cleaned in all those 5 days, although we requested to do so at the reception desk. You only get one towel / person upon arrival. You need to ask for extra ones if needed. There was a bad smell in the aisle. Reception people were quite nice. The surroundings might seem not secure but we did not have any problems. Budget places for breakfast nearby if you do not want to pay 6 euro for breakfast at hotel, and well located near the train station ans tourist information office, quite far from the old town. You can walk 30 minutes, or take the tram.

Not expensive hotel but far from the sea and from the center. There is a much nicer hotel one street after. The rooms are really too small!

The hotel is easy to find and so close to the train station. It's only a 10 min walk to the beach. The owner at the reception are very friendly and welcoming!! the room quite small but clean & ok. (they forgot to change towels the next day, but I didn't ask for another). I would stay there again.
