Very run down. Hallways very grungy, mattress blocked narrow landing Electrics poor, hairdreyer didn't work, nor lights beside bed. Fridge didn't work properly and plug came out of wall when attempting to unplug fridge to plug in mobile. Only one powerpoint in room. Cold tap fell off.

The rating is so high because we were offered a studio instead of a hotel room (we stayed one night in) due to our longer stay (7 nights). The staff was anyways unexpectedly excellent!!!

We had a great stay at Hotel Felix. The owners/managers were very helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay there again when we come back to France.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, there are a lot of resturants and shops around the hotel. The traffic is also convenient.

It's a cheap hotel in a great location. We used it for a one night stay during a men only weekend trip, for which it was ideal, but I would hesitate to recommend it to couples or to those seeking a touch of luxury. The stairs are steep too.

Very nice hotel staff. The location is the best. Literally what ever is needed is out the front door of the hotel. Across the street from La Pizza.

Great location for short stays, accept some noice and you will be fine. Tiny stairs so no big luggage. Fun when you just accept it as it is

Great location, close proximity to the beach, still a little walk though. Balcony was a plus, lots of activity on the street to observe. Plenty of shops and restaurants just downstairs on the same street.

We enjoyed our stay in Felix. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would certainly return there in the future.

Nice is expensive but for location - this hotel is fantastic. We had a room near the back rather than on the street that was lovely and quiet. Very friendly staff. Quite narrow and steep stairs. Small rooms, but that's the style. Bathroom was nice, the shower was broken but it was fixed immediately. They also have apartments 3 streets away from the hotel, which would have been better if they had a few rugs and pictures in the place - we stayed one night but they feel a bit sterile, so we asked to be moved back to the hotel. Overall a good little place.

Excellent location and hotel!! Close to beach, public transport etc, would definatly stay there again. Supermarket/fruit shop literally around the corner also along with many restaurants. Definately recommend the bus from airport, cheap and quick!

Alberg modesto adatto a a una clientela giovane. I dintorni dell'hotel sono ottimali, al centro di una isola pedonale al centro di Nizza.

Il posto è irraggiungibile con l'automobile. E' molto rumoroso. La pulizia lascia a desiderare.

The staff is nice & friendly. But the room needs to be looked into especially in the bathroom water flow out. And the tap is a loose. When the flask do not work, they change it immediately. But those things can be overlooked and we moved around it.

travelling with wife and 2 kids [aged 5 & 7] with 2 weeks worth of clothes etc in a very heavy bag---got a room on the top [4th] floor and there's no lift: this was the major disappointment.

The rooms are very small but the service is good, the air conditionning isn't noisy, when the window is closed you do not hear any noice from the street. Another great advantage, the bus stop to go to the airport is really close (walking distance)

Excellent location right on the main shopping square and close to the beach. Rooms are smallish and there's no lift, but it's a great value compared to other hotels in the area.

We travelled with two kids aged 5 and 8. The location of the hotel was perfect because situated in the pedestrian area of Nice. For breakfast there is a wonderful bakery left when leaving the hotel and for a quick lunch a sandwich store on the right hand. 5 minutes to the beach is also perfect with kids. The room was quite clean and we had enough room to move around. We loved staying in the city centre and had no problem with the rumor late at night and early in the morning.

PESSIMO!!!!! ALCUNE LENZUOLA ERANO MACCHIATE. E SI ERANO DIMETICATI DI METTERCI GI ASCIUGAMIANI. ALLA FINE VOLEVANO PURE ADDEBITARCI UNA COLAZIONE MAI FATTA!!!!

For the first 2 days everything was perfect till we started to have problem with the air cond . The concierge did not really care so ,for 2 days we haven't been able to sleep because of the heat in our room . And I found the timer ,which resolve our problem . In all ,the day time staff were great ,surronding excellent .I would recommand Felix hotel .

Nice little hotel in the center of Nice :)I got excellent service and a friendly welcoming. The rooms were not very big but as I travelled alone I wouldn't have needed more space. There was a little balcony in my room, TV that worked and a watercooker. The bathroom was clean and I liked much the atmosphere in the hotel. The location was perfect.

All the staff were most helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely. We were in the back of the hotel so we did not have any street noise. It was especially helpful that the hotel had an interenet connection available for use so that we could contact our family. They even offer laundry service!! We loved the street, rue Messena, with all the pedestrians, restaurants and small shops. It was a lovely area. We felt quite safe and most welcome. The breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious too. One must be in good shape, however, because there is not an elevator and the hotel is 4 stories!! we are looking forward to returning some day. The price was ok in felix, and the staff or owner very nice and really very helpful. We enjoyed having a chat with them during breakfast, and felt very welcomed and like at home. Still, even for only 50 Euro per night for a double room, I would expect a CLEAN room. Hairs in the bathroom and even in the towels, a dusty floor and a stinking pillow made our night one of those nights, where you are happy when the alarm rings. many things in this room would need to be fixed - even the toilet.

The hotel was nice, pretty and at a perfect location. The room was very small, but cosy. There was a little noise from the walking street in front of the hotel, but with earplugs we all slept great. Very friendly staff.

The picture on the internet was not of any of the rooms rented out nightly...however the room was sufficiant for our requirements. It had a double bed and a sofa that turned into a second double bed, although I would not sleep four in this room, it was room enough for 2. It had a small balcony that overlooked the pedestrian area. You could hear the noise from the street but it was not overly intrusive. The staff were friendly and very helpful with our questions. They spoke English very well. A breakfast was offered each morning, boiled eggs, juice and pastries...very nicely done. There is a computer available in the breakfast area that can be used for a small fee. Our location was perfect, just two blocks from the beach and easy access to the pedestrian area to explore all the shops and cafes. It is basic accommodation but for the price, it was more than satisfactory. We had easy and inexpensive trasportation to Grasse (perfume factories), Cannes, Antibes and Monaco. The bus was just 1euro 30cents no matter where you went. Antibes was beautiful and highly recommended by locals...Monaco was nice to visit for the day.

When I booked a twin room I did expect two beds the same size and not one double and one much smaller day bed. This room would have been unsuitable if we were taller. Great location, nice clean rooms and lots of hot water. Also very friendly staff. But avoid the breakfast as it's just OK but you can get so much better in Nice.

Excellent location. Rooms are big and quiet if you require a room not facing the main street. Clean. The only problem is that it does not have elevator but the personal is so friendly that they won't have any problem to help you. Highly recommendable.

Felix was great! The staff was very welcoming and accomodating to all of our needs. The location is ideal for shopping, eating, going to the beach and just exploring Nice. The street that the Felix is on is pedestrian and in the late hours of the night was a bit loud. However, the location is unbeatable, premise is very clean and staff very accomodating. Overall was a great stay

Fine hotel in the very centre of Nice. This means that everything is very near to the hotel - and that is a noisy place to live. Tjis is the compromise when living in the centre. It is close to the beach and to the town centre - and the old town. It is a fine little simple hotel, expect a bed to sleep in and nothing more - and you will not be disappointed...

Overall a decent hotel. the location couldnt be better unless you were on the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was the size of a shoebox however. It was very tight for two people. Our room was on the back side of the building so we didnt have any street noise, but there was a gap at the bottom of our door w/ a "vent"(?) as well. That brought in all of the inner hotel noise, which could be very loud in the morning. not ideal if you wanted to sleep a little. The overall stay was nice though. I would stay there again if i could get the price lower than 70 euro
