Hotel Des Flots d'Azur - Nice

The bathroom and the room were really small. But the balcony and the beach were perfect !

The place off the hotel is perfect,the staff is perfect,friendly,frienly,friendly,the sheets are clean but....all is very old,the carpets, red with different dirty things, no and the toilet you can use it when you let open the door( the door,is a great name of it) to te room ,it is better to use the toilet on the second floor.the price for this i think it is to high

The Hotel is well located by the Promenade and just by the beach front. However the place needs a proper refurbishment. The staffs at the reception are friendly and speaks good English. However the parking area is pathetic but serves the purpose of free parking. For the price of the Hotel and free wifi, I will surely return if passing this way again.

Room is small, bathroom even smaller, carpet somewhat stained, but globally correct. Relatively quiet, double bed ok, with TV and air conditioned. Personnel is nice. Price is very reasonable (72 eur) especially when you just have to cross the street to reach the (stone) beach and swim in the mediterranean sea. Breakfast is correct too (8 eur). Need to walk a bit to reach the old town center. Overall feeling : I would come back

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent ,you reach the main area of Nice in 15-20mins walking along the promenade.Airport by bus 98 is only 10 minutes,rail station from Magnan is around 10 minutes as well.The furniture of the room and the pillows could certainly be better.Over all excellent value for money.Would stay again.The beach was just across the road.Lots of local eating places around.We booked a sea view room and got the best view ever.

Hotel Des Flots d'Azur is a hidden gem in Nice at a great price. It is perfectly located on the main promenade and very easy access to the airport, beach and city centre. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms spacious. When i return to Nice I will stay again.

This room was totally misleading. There was no parking though it had been advertised. The room was in the basement and smelled horrible of mold in one room and the other of heavy smoke.The view was lovely and the service by the clerk was helpful.

I stayed at this hotel twice. Once in the winter and once in July. I booked the hotel because of the price and reviews. The reviews said the rooms are small but the location is great. It met my expectations. The room is very small which I guess is normal for France. But both times we had a room with a balcony looking to the sea right over the road and sea walk. In the summer it was great to put on swim trunks and walk over to the beach for a swim. The bathroom is very small, like one you might find in an RV but it was adequate room for a shower and lots of hot water. I recommend getting the rooms with balcony. In both winter and summer it was great to sit on the balcony and people watch. Great fun watching people walking on the sea walk and trying to park. All the staff spoke good English, were very friendly and helpful. They helped arrange for a tour for my adult children and helped with a taxi since we had and early flight. We had breakfast only once at 7 euro with was just coffee and great baguettes. The other times we walked up the alley to the next street and found side walk cafes with more selection of the fantastic French pastries. The nice thing though is you can have breakfast in your room or on the deck on the side of the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat, a super market near by and nearby well-stocked mini-market under an apartment. But the mini-bar does not keep things very cold and there is no ice around that I could find. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the central shopping area and 30 minutes to walk to my favorite place, the old town and really neat park above the hold town. So be prepared to walk. My next visit to Nice, I will learn how to use the buses. There is a bus stop right in front from the airport so you don’t need to get a taxi which are extremely expensive, 36 euro to the train station which is a 30 minute walk. Ne réservez pas pour le parking! 5 places en tout et pour tout. En plus elles sont difficilement accessibles et situées les unes derrière les autres. Il faut donc laisser les clés à la réception! Quand à la chambre, nous avions demandé une chambre twin, nous avons eu une double (sans en être avertis), avec un lit bien petit. La salle de bain, quand à elle reddemblait plus à un placard qu'à une salle de bain, mais bon, tout y était. Par contre, nous avons eu droit à une chambre vue sur mer pour le prix d'une vue de côté, car il n'y en avait plus.

I was travelling with my parents and the overall experience was good. Even though the wireless connection wasn't good enough.

We spent 3 nights in the Hotel Des Flots d'Azur, located on the sea front. Restaurants, pubs, casinos and supermarkets all within walking distance (5 - 10 minute). Friendly staff, value for money, good access to major roads.

Very good hotel! The hotel is really great! Good price, good location (in front of the sea!!!), good employees. The relationship between price/quality is very good! Just one observation: The Venere site says that the hotel is very near from the Nice´s airport and you can go walking (10 minutes)...that´s impossible... it´s about 20 minutes by bus...
