Although i stayed only one night in this hotel i would have liked to stay longer. Near the train station of Nice Ville, but not walking distance if you have bags, not just a carry_on. Well received. Room is capacious, clean and has chairs and table, noisy from street in morning but i was already awake. Bathroom very clean and convenient. Helpful staff. Location excellent, very near to the promenade des Anglais where you have many restaurants and is beautiful to walk and enjoy the cote d'azure. Very close ATM machine, fruit store, restaurants and Airport shuttle. You will never regret taking this hotel if you are lookig for practical clean convenient and economical stay in Nice. I would go again and recomment it. There is no elevator.

It is about 25 minutes' walk from the railway station, but only 5 minutes' walk from the Promenade des Americains. There is no lift, the room was OK for the price I paid. This hotel caters for students or for people staying 1-2 days maximum.

We enjoyed our stay in the Hotel very much. The staff was friendly, the room very big and the location great (5 minutes walk to the esplanade. The hairdryer didn't work but that was not a big problem.

A good comfortable hotel for the price. Good location 5 mins walk to Prom/Beach via the bustling Boulevard Gambetta, just 15 mins to Vieux Nice. Very helpful staff.

Just back from a weekend in Nice, we choose this hotel for its location, so close to the promendade and still easy walking distance to the city centre, bus stops, train station...great value for money...got a room number 9 and 3 single beds in it as i requiered, room ok, tight for 3 people in it, but such a great value for moeny, can't complain....noisy enough when windows open, but that was expected as most hotels have windows over busy streets...would definitely come back....thank you:-)

The hotel is placed in a strategic place, it's very near Promenade des Anglais. As for the rooms, they are well tided every day. The beds are very comfortable! Since the temperature was hot inside the room we were forced to keep the window open, but the problem is that there is a lot of traffic in the street (which is just under the room), so we couldn't sleep very well. I must add that the owner of the hotel is extremely nice and welcoming! If we have the opportunity to go to Nice once again, we will definitely return to this hotel. The price/quality ratio is absolutely good.

Hotel de la Buffa is charming and good to reach by all transports. Near to the beach of the Promenade des Anglais and only a few minutes walk to the city center. Parking the car in Nice is a disaster - even payant and even in no high seasons. Bathroom was very small, but it didn't bother us, because we usually don't spend all the day in the bathroom. Room was charming decorated à la french style. Room and bath were cleaned every day and both were provided with all facilities. I was surprized to have all this for so little money. Staff was friendly.

Room was tiny and very dirty, bathroom was dirty, old and moldy. We were told to leave key to the room in the reception however the policy disclaimed any responsibility for items stolen from the room. Would not recommend it to anyone. We stayed in France for 3 weeks, all in 2 stars hotels, and by far that was the nastiest room, not deserving the 2 stars status.

Really good value for money!!! For a very cheap fare we had a nice room, little bathroom, but very clean, nice and tidy, fully accessorized. Absolutely to be suggested!

Nice location, very close to the seaside, rooms on street side a bit noisy, bathroom really small and minimal, suitable anyway for one or two nights.

We were on the first floor, street side, so the traffic was really loud at night, but we didn't have any trouble sleeping (ear plugs if you need). The room wasn't large, and the bathroom was tiny, but overall we were perfectly comfortable and pleased with what we got for what we paid. The location was good (really close to the beach and the train station). I would stay at Hotel de la Buffa again.

First time in Nice so first stay at De la Buffa. Very quaint and comfortable hotel. We were at back of hotel so nice and quiet. Hotel in very good location too; only 2 min walk to Promenade and 5 min walk to main bus station and bus stops nearly outside the door!Wouldn't hesitate to use Hotel De la Buffa again. You get what you pay for 2* accommodation.

Very convenient location, just 2 blocks off the Blvd des Anglais and 10 minutes from major pedestrian mall. Nothing fancy - basic amenities, but very satisfactory. Reception was very cordial and helpful. Great bargain for the price.

Die Badezimmer sind zu klein. Unsere Dusche renovierungsbedürftig und überall Schimmel. Standort hingegen ideal, man ist sofort auf dem Boulevard des Anglais am Meer.

This was our 4th visit to Nice and stayed for 4 days on this occasion. Bearing in mind the price we paid, and the time of year Ifeel that we had good value for money. The room was clean, we had hot water! air conditioning and a frige and a safety box. The furnishings were a bit shabby but bearing in mind the amount of time we actually spent at the hotel, did not bother us too much. The bed was one of the msot comfortable that we stayed in and had room service daily. The monsieur on the desk was very helpful and our bags were kept safely after we had checked out until our flight that evening. Overall a very pleasant stay and for value for money would return there.

The price is lower, I think it's okay for young people. But it's little noise (because the room is so close the street), I could not sleep very well in first night, even you close the windows. I requested the hot water, the servants are very nice. It's near the some restaurants and beach. You could find the chinese and pizza foods so easily.

The hotel was tricky to find, a lot of the buildings look very similar to that in the pictures on Venere. Needless to say, the room we were allocated was sufficient. They could seriously do with new pillows! The bathroom was tiny, but great to have a private WC nonetheless. The hotel is situated close to the promenade, which was great... but a bit of a trek by foot from the train station. The lady at reception was friendly and very helpful.

Do you read your e-mails, if you did you will see from the photos I sent that the hotel was diabolical. It was dirty and scaffold surrounded the building blocking out light etc. I was most dissatisfied, we stayed only one night and had to find alternative accomodation in the Hotel Touring which was excellent, cheaper and more central

The hotel is really in the centre of Niece. Our room (4 persons) was nice. Only the bathroom was a little poor. The other strange thing is that the hotel park.. is the park of another hotel! (and you have to pay 15 Euro a day). However, the hotel is a perfect "headquarters" to explore Niece and it's rather cheap.

We wish that we knew it was difficult to find something to eat the first night we were there. We would not have turned down the offer. Also, the bus to the airport does not come at 530am. So we walked to the street next to the water and caught the fast bus for 3.50 euros at 600 am. No problem but we could have slept 1/2 hour more. Oh, the phone wake up call did not work but you gave us an alarm. Thank you so much!! Our stay was so comfortable with you and we love Nice!!!

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was central and well located for the bus from the airport. Very welcoming and I felt that the hotel was secure at all times. Possibly should have changed the door code more regularly to prevent ex-guests being able to access after 1900. However, would not recommend it to older guests as was very noisy in the early hours (other guests) and could have done without the plastic sheets on the bed! On the whole as a single person looking for cheapish, clean, central hotel it was fine for the purpose. Full marks to staff.

The Hotel de la Buffa was a clean, spacious hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. It is in a good location close to the promenade and other amenities. The only downside was that the surrounding streets were noisey during the night with cars.
