Very friendly staff. A warm welcome, breakfast was delivered accurately and punctually. The bed was very comfortable, all linen changed every day, facilities were basic but perfect for what we wanted and expected. There are stairs and a lift, air conditioning, 24hr concierge, you can even borrow beach mats to use to make relaxing on the beach a little less lumpy. Echoes from people in the street sounded loud with all the tall buildings surrounding the hotel, but with the windows closed it was fine. The hotel is on a very narrow street and opposite there are apartments so the shutters and curtains needed to be kept shut, when we were in which was not long as the weather was perfect for spending all our time outside exploring the city of Nice, The Hotel's in an ideal position to walk right from the airport to the west to beyond the harbour to the east. Wonderful pebble beach clear turqoise/blue sea and a 7 mile promenade to walk. The Ligne Bleu bus service 4 euros for an all day hop on hop off, runs along the prom just yards from the door of the Dante. The rail station is less than a mile away as is the city centre.Loads of very good restaurants very handy and some recommended by the staff at Dante. We will return to explore more!!

The hotel was in a convenient location- just 2 1/2 blocks to the beach; close to bus stop; great bakeries nearby! My booking included a continental breakfast: a freshly baked croissant, baguette, juice and coffee or tea. The room was small (by USA standards) but was certainly adequate as a base for my stay in Nice. The opening to the shower stall was only about 15 inches wide, so a plus size person may have difficulty. The staff was very friendly, and most spoke some English. Only problem that annoyed me was the way that sound carried through the walls. I could easily hear snoring and conversations from adjoining rooms. I even heard someone giving credit card info over the phone in the next room. There were no security chains or deadbolts on the door, although I do not know if this is standard in Europe. Overall, the hotel was clean and everyone was courteous and helpful. Definitely not fancy, but it was more than adequate for the price.

Our room stinked like a canalisation, it was horrible! The shower was broken. The walls of the rooms must be very thin, you heard each word people were talking in their rooms. The TV had only three french programs. The sheets on the beds were full of spots (sperm, piss). The doors didn't function proper and so you had to close it very strong and therefore loud. We would never pay again EUR 226.- per night per 3 persons for such a hotel! the personal was very friendly! because there was no breakfast-room they brought it to our room in the morning. one day, all the bred was cold and even still frozen. In total, we would not recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

Very good position (2 blocs from the Promenade des Anglais and the hotel Negresco), good connection to the airport and public transport, about 20 minutes walking to the historic center, helpfull staff. Simple but efficient furnishings (don´t expect the luxury for this price and location!), spacious room (I had triple room for the price of single) Excellent ratio price/location

The Hotel is used by prostitutes during the night. It's impossible to sleep. The room was small and dirty. The bathroom was in very bad condition. We reserved 4 nights but after 10 minutes we decided to delete the reservation. We made only the first night becasue we did not found other accomodation. If you are looking for an Hotel this is not the right place.

The room is small but nice. it worth the price.the staff is helpful. location of the hotel is very good. take 3 mins to walk to the seaside. It is a nice hotel at a low price. By the way, Kyriad Vieux Port Hotel (in Marseille) is the worse hotel in the world!!it is a lier and cheat on customers! when we checked out, they charge us more money and threat us!!!the Manager got mad and became total crazy when we refuse to pay the extra money! it is the hell~~~that day is my worse day in my entire life!!!

My son and I were spending two nights in Nice to sight see and then move on to Monaco after getting used to the time change. We wanted the cheapest clean and decent accommdation available as we were not going to be hanging around in the room. We got exactly what we wanted and paid for. The room was small and somewhat worn but our room even had a small balcony which we sat on and watched the street life of Nice go by over a glass of wine (if you don't like plastic bring your own glasses).

My stay at Dante was overall very satisfactory - the rooms are clean (even colour co-ordinated!) and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The one downside was the noise made by other guests in the small hours on the Saturday night, hardly the fault of the hotel but worth bearing in mind.

The bedroom was small. The tap was stopped up and we heard very clearly the nearest bedroom. The only advantage was the price that veneree proposed (cheap) and the location in the city (close to "la promenade des anglais").

Good relation quality/price. I stayed only one night and there were all I needed- parking place, close to the airport, location near the cost... Small kitchen was nice surprise for me. Regulator of heater was actual. Nice impressions and my best recomendation about this hotel.

The towels had holes (!), the bathroom had a bad smell (i solved it myself, it was because of the tube), there was no welcoming (i was late, i came late at night but nobody appeared...), the room was poor in general and when i asked to change room if possible they told me the rooms are the same (however that period only 5 rooms were occupied, they could do that change). I don't suggest that hotel, i believe somebody can find better ones in Nice.

The hotel is easy to find. It is placed only 4 minutes walk from the beach and about 5 minutes from the centre of Nice. The hotel is quite okey and cheap, but we was not quite satisfied with the cleaning of the room. Not a high class hotel, but quite ok. May be we will come back next year.

Too noisy. There are no A/Cs, it is very hot in the room. Better to install A/C, otherwise the guests cannot fall asleep the whole night. But the guests are very well welcomed in the hotel. Additonally, it is located in an excellent place, just a few minutes to the beach.

The hotel was really good, obviously it's always a 2**!!! and the breakfast in room was really a good surprise as they havent a breakfast-room, and the price, 5 EUROS each, was good if you think that you're in Nice and there's no bar, pub or restaurant which sell it for less!!!!

Small and simple hotel, 5-10minutes to the beach :-) the price of the room was correct, but they add a tax (0.70 cents/person/night)! the description of the room is good too, but there was no fridge in ours! beds are done everyday and they change the towels everyday too. BUT IMPORTANT! the breakfast is NOT included, you have to pay 5euro to have it... directly in the room! un ptit hotel tout simple dans une rue pas si calme que ca (mais bon, nice c'est pas une ville très calme niveau circulation, partout!!!!), si on ferme les fenetres et on enclenche le ventilateur, pas de problème ;-) les prix sont comme sur le site, sauf qu'ils ajoutent la taxe de séjour (70centimes d'euro par personne et par nuit), pas grand chose quoi!! et sinon on est très proche de la plage de galets (5-10min à pied). sinon ils sont sympas, ils donnent un code pour rentrer après 23h (plus de réception) et changent les serviettes de bain tous les jours (et font les lits :-) ). on s'attendait à avoir un frigo ds la chambre, mais non! et IMPORTANT: le ptit déj n'est PAS compris dans le prix, il n'y a d'ailleurs pas de salle prévue pour ca, ils le font pour 5euro et l'apportent ds la chambre!!!! :-) bon souvenir!!

It was ok. I stayed there for two days with my wife. The only real problem in July is the lack of air conditioning. Another, smaller problem is the noise outside in the morning, so we had to close the windows. But generally it was what we expected for the given price. The hotel is located relatively close to the beach, which was what we were looking for.

Cheap, slightly down at heel. Rooms reflect this. Long way from centre of town, little in the local area in the evening, had to make the long trek back into town. Breakfast served in room, very poor.
