Hotel Crillon - Nice

This is the third time I ang my wife stayed at Hotel Crillon. The rooms were nice and friendly like our own rooms at home.

Small hotel in the BEST place - city center, everything in step distance, wonderful for sleeping night over and walk all the day around. Price consistent.

Nice room, nice personnels, nice area surranding

Crillon is a good hotel about which I have told several of my friends who will have occasions to travel in Nice, especially in the Summer like me.

The hotel was basic but adequate, very well situated near to beach and town centre. A quaint old-fashioned lift and a piano in the dining room (but no tea or coffee except at the breakfast which was 7 or 8 euros extra). Although the street was busy the excellent air conditioning and double glazing realy helped. Some lights were not working but were fixed when we asked. The bedside tables were covered with a film of dust/plaster. Most of the staff were very cheerful, friendly and helpful. The thing we really would have liked was the chance to make a hot drink as we are used to being able to do even in cheap hotels. The restriction of no food or drink in the rooms was also a pity. Nearby we found an excellent tiny street cafe which served the best croissants I have ever tasted at half the price of the hotel breakfast so we didn't bother to try the hotel one!

Quite good to stay in Nice

Not the Ritz but it doesn't set out to be. Excellent value in an extremely convenient location. For the price you would struggle to beat it. Management were helpful and friendly, if you have a problem let them know and they will address it. Don't just write disparaging comments in the book without alerting them as some sad person did. Will definitely return

It's OK in general/quality -price

Hotel pulito, comodo per visitare la città vicino a parcheggi (a pagamento,ma vabe). E' veramente centrale, in una zona molto frequentata anche di sera, piena di locali. Personale molto gentile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Location of the hotel is OK. Room was rather small. Bathroom was bad: very small and with very unpleasant smell

This is a horrible hotel! While we were there the pipes burst and our water turned brown for two days. The manager refused to give us a discount for our room even though we were stuck without water and had to walk to the beach to shower. It was disgusting. The beds were dirty too. That place has never been cleaned. I will never stay there again.

Très bien pour du dépannage, à éviter pour un long séjour.

We were very pleased with our accomadtions and would return in the future. The hotel was located in a nice, central location. The room was clean and reasonably sized.

It was a good hotel. The reception was not really welcoming but they were kind. They don't have any security boxes you can close yourself but you can leave your passport with reception and they're pretty reliable.

Really in a great location. Good quality for this price.

Easy to reach. Carpets smelly and dirty. Bathroom hardly clean and small. Small bedroom. Well located. Noisy. Expensive thinking on the service.

La privacy viene rispettata ed il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. L'albergo è in centro, ma tuttavia si sentono gli uccellini la mattina, disturbati soltanto dal rumore di catene del vecchio, romantico ascensore. Dalla mia camera, il panorama era un pò squallidino, ma ad un passo fuori brulicava la vita. Ricordarsi di chiedere un rotolo di carta igienica per il non si sà mai, perchè in questo senso hanno il braccino corto. Per il resto, è come sentirsi a casa, da subito. Buone energie positive nell'ambiente (sarà il clima vacanziero?...)e si dorme come dei bambini: da favola! Buon divertimento a tutti!

Lo staff è a completa disposizione!molto cortesi e simpatici!se dovessi tornare a nizza sicuramente tornerei in questa struttura..anche se purtroppo non ci sono prese di corrente in camera..

Poor realy POOR

Friendly staff, overall very enjoyable stay and the location is excellent. Biggest minus: not possible to leave luggage in the hotel after checkout. Free WiFi connection (not well advertised on hotel counter or in the rooms) is great although only available in the salon area on 1st floor.

Great location, but not good value for the money. Rules are antiquated (10 Euro cleaning surcharge for food in the room). The bed was horrible, the worst I had over a 2 week vacation.

The price is quite reasonable (as the price of other hotels in Nice is generally high). It is quite near the center of Nice.

The bathroom of the room we stayed could do with a good scrub. Apart from that I enjoyed the overall stay at hotel Crillon. There was a very nice man at reception who always made us feel welcome, I couldn't say the same for the rest of the receptionists, maybe it was down to the language barrier as most of them could not speak english.

Very happy the cleanliness of room and hotel staff. good standard and value for money

Being a world traveler, in the beginning, I was a bit hesitant to lodge in this hotel. However, I found that this is a clean, neat, and sweet hotel. It did the purpose as i was most of the time out checking out the city and attractions. I recommend this hotel. Good luck!

Very helpfull staff will be back next year

Lousy hotel, which was worthy only for the location. Appart from the receptionist on the first day, who was very helpful, the whole staff was rude. We had to order toilet paper all the time, and when we asked for the remote control to the TV, they said that it would cost 10 euros. Breakfast was much better to have at Mac Donalds on the corner. Worst of all was the shower with nowhere to hang, so we had to bath on the knees holding the shower, otherwise the bathroom would be all wet. Carpet filthy and walls as well. No hangs around the room or bathroom.
