Hotel Apogia - Nice

Breakfast non incluso nel prezzo e di pessima qualità: miele scaduto, yogurt fuori frigo, scarsa igiene nella disposizione del pane e dei croissants, vassoi senza tovagliolo, tavoli senza tovaglia né tovagliette. L'aria condizionata in camera non è regolabile autonomamente.

The hotel was OK and I think a three star was well earned. The rooms were not great, but sufficient. The minibar was empty though, but the staff was prepared to fill it. I forgot the price was without breakfast, which was added on the bill. its no big deal. The surroundings of the hotel were farely poor. Luckily it was a five minute walk to the old town.

1. Could not control room temperature. Room was hot. 2. Did not have iron in the whole hotel. Charged 30 euros to iron (no washing) a 20 dollar linen skirt. After a lot of hassle, we brought the price down to 14 euros, which was still above any price quoted in the laundry sheet. We are extremely disappointed with the laundry service. 3. We were repeatedly told upon specifically asking that breakfast was included in the charge. Yet, 11 euros per person were charged for each breakfast while checking out. The two lady employees at the desk were polite but did not really rectify the problem. The other male employees provided downright poor customer service. We are extremely disappointed with our overall stay at Apogia, Nice.
