Excellent value for the price. Friendly staff, clean bright rooms, working Wi-Fi, 5-10 minutes walk to pretty much everything in central Nice. Street might be a little noisy for some, but very decent with window closed, wasn't a problem in the least for me.

We have recently returned from a holiday in Nice staying at this Hotel, We have travelled to many places in the world from the Far East to India to America, and not once have we been bitten by BED BUGS! In total my wife had approx 30 bites across her shoulders and arms they were very painful! they can take up to 9 days to appear once bitten she still has the scars nearly 4 weeks later. I would advise anyone looking at stopping at this hotel to think twice!

Cant recommend this hotel enough!! Location was excellent - only 10-15min walk from station, 5-10min walk from old town and beach and 1min walk from main shopping street. There are also plenty of cute cafes and boutiques on the same street as the hotel. The hotel room was small but more than adequate. We stayed for 6 nights and couldnt have been happier. Hotel staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We wouldnt stay anywhere else in Nice.

My boyfriend and I came to Nice on business and pleasure; he had to work while I played! We didn’t want to spend too much money but we also didn’t want to stay in a hostile. H33 was a good value for the price. Our room was quite small but perfectly adequate and clean. Our room, a standard queen, had a flat screen TV, a small desk with chair, a hairdryer, and bathroom with shower. One complaint I have is that the closet was very small with very few hangers so we were not able to hang up all of our clothes during our week stay. I did need to iron some shirts and for that I had to ask the front desk to use their iron in a separate room of the hotel. We also had a little balcony which was lovely, there was a nice view and we sat out there several nights enjoying the fresh air and some wine! The hotel staff was friendly and spoke some English. They hotel was in a good location, a 5 minute walk to Old Nice and a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. Good Value for the Price!

The property was generally tatty. The room (26)was subject to external noise even at 2am in the morning. The ensuite toilet area was so small that your chin was in the sink and your knees hit the door! Good points, centrally located, friendly welcoming receptionist reasonable breakfast.

More expensive, it's only a 2 stars' hotel! Or prices was 119euro for a room with 3 beds. There are other hotels that had only 90-98euro! Good position near the city centre. The room are not very cleanliness (expecially the bathroom without hot air condition!).

The hotel has a good location near the center of the city. The room was equipped with a ceiling fan, air conditioner and TV (but with only 4-5 useless french channels). There was only a little problem: the ants in the room...

Once you are put into a room face the street, you can not sleep at all. Wall peel, sheet look dirty, small bathroom. I found the gentleman in the receiption is quite helpful, and that's the only thing I feel good.

There are both positives and negatives regarding this hotel... On the positive side, the hotel was in a good location for the town centre, with many restaurants and the beach probably only a 5-10 min walk away. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good and delivered promptly (you can choose to eat in a breakfast area or in your own room). The room was equipped with a tv and ceiling fan (although the weather was v.hot outside, this helped to keep the room temperature down) The staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. On the negative side, I do think the rooms and public areas were a little shabby, dark and needed to be significantly updated (some dodgy wallpaper and carpets!) - definitely not modern decor. In addition the fridge/min bar didn't work in my room and I couldn't work out how to use the safe (a guest information book would be useful!) Also it wasn't clear on the website but breakfast does cost extra (6 or7 euros per night). Overall I was happy with my stay but I think the hotel is in need of some updating to brighten it up (it did look quite unappealing at first). If,like me, you are not fussy about a fancy room then this hotel would be good value - however I would say not to bother booking a 'superior' room, as I did and could tell no difference (I believe some have balconies or terraces but really there is no view to look out at!). There are other hotels in this price range and area that looked nicer (i.e. Hotel Crillon)

Budget hotel.lots of water noise from waste pipes from rooms above.More importantly,no night porter after about 10 p.m. In fact no staff at all after 10 p.m. A bit of a worry for girls or single people,or in the event of an emergency.

The rooms are very basic and dull. No hairdryer. Generally kept clean on a daily basis. This type of accommodation is probably best for just a 1 or 2 night stopover, en route to somewhere else.

The location is perfect, but the hotel is very very old. Probably we was unlucky, but our room was very noisy (I can hear pefectly what happens in the next rooms). Bathroom was not very well cleaned. I think there is something better with similar location and price :)

I booked a 'superior twin'. It had a wonderful terrace. However the bathroom was so small that when you sat on the toilet you could throw up in the sink without moving. My mother couldn't close the bathroom door when she was on the toilet. It said there was an elevator but the reality was that it stopped at half floors and you had to walk up a flight to your room at every floor. My mother is 81 and doesn't do stairs well. the bedside lamp was so low you couldn't read in bed. the front desk was unsupervised and anyone could walk in and go up to the rooms. We stayed one night instead of the 5 we booked and moved one block away to a wonderful hotel for less money!!

Really nice, cosy hotel. The employees are very friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and tidy. The windows of the rooms looking out on the street are new and noise-proof (this is REALLY important in Nice). Breakfast is ok (standard), you can have it in your room until 10.30 am. And it takes you only 10 minutes by foot to the beach. All in all, nothing to complain about!

The standard room is very small but clean. This hotel (at least the standard room) is ideal for short periods. The position is good because the hotel is at 10 min on foot from the old city and at 15 min on foot from sea.
