The best I could say is that it should be pulled down. This was the worst place I have ever stayed in. You could not physically get in the shower unless you squeezed in sideways. Even the room given for the second night was not much better. For towel rail read coat hanger on screw.tiles falling of in "bathroom"etc. It was an awful lot of money for what you got, even if it is a short walk to Times Square.Spent whole afternoon looking for other accomodation for our return to New York.Found a better hotel around the corner at a lot less money.Do not send people there it is a disgrace.

The location is fabulous - right in the theater district of New York City. The management was welcoming and helpful in terms of what to do. There were no problems getting a refund when we decided to leave because of Hurricane Irene. The hotel is in a very old building. The room was clean but the carpets are very old and the bathroom is tiny. I would consider staying again.

The location was excellent and the rooms cheap; that was the only redeeming factor. Breakfast was at Subway next-door: egg omelet on bread, cookie and coffee OR tea OR milk. Both the hotel and the Subway are in desperate need of renovation; The interior is shoddy and poorly put together. Made me think of Dr. Seuss, but not in a positive way. The shower was so tiny I could not turn around in it, and I'm quite petite! I got what I wanted from the hotel, cheap nightly rates and great proximity to Times Square, but I won't stay there again.

DISGUSTING, FILTHY, ROTTEN!!!! Never seen anything so vile. I refuse to use venere.com any more because of this. I did NOT stay at this hotel. After I saw the room, I left and found another hotel. There were NO windows, so no air. The bathroom was filthy. The room was supposed to be a double, but there was no space to even stand with my baggage.

The fire exit led to a dead end. The fire alarm was already pulled. There were no smoke detectors in the room.

This place is horrible. But it can be cheap. The 4th floor seems to be better than the others.

Well in my oppinion the hotel has no condition at all. The building is really old and it needs a remodelation. Ther is no lift, so is rally hard to take the luggage upsteirs. It was too hot in the room, even with the air condition! On the other hand, it´s really god located and the persons of the staff were friendly and kind.

The location is good. However the rooms are very small. There isn't any place for both of us to place our bags. In addition, there is no lift and the Inn is very old

Well you get what you pay for. The location was excellent, 2 minutes from Times Square, thats about it! The bathroom looked onto another bedroom, the electrics were dangerous and the floor felt it was going to fall in, not to mention the spots of blood on the carpet. I slept with my suitcase behind my door as the area was not exactly safe. Pay the extra money this place was a dump

We expected the hotel to be much better. It was not worth the money, we only stayed for one night and then made a reservation at another hotel, not so much more expensive than New York Inn. I wouldn´t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Be aware that the "double" rooms are very small and have only one bed 120 or 130 cm wide. I switched to a twin bed room, more expensive.
