Hotel Roger Williams - Manhattan, New York

The Roger Williams is an excellent option if you are looking for a convenient Midtown location (a bit noisy but then this is the area for it). Close to subway options the Roger Williams has very good facilities, lobby, gym and bar. The rooms are a very good size and good amenities. Overall very good value for money. The staff have been wonderful and very courteous from the doorman, front desk and room attendants. Definately recommend this hotel.

Modern hotel with relaxed style and atmosphere, nice furniture, hotel well located within Manhattan, many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Compared to the actual price (250€/night) the room was a little bit too small and as we stayed on the third floor, we could hear the sound from the bar a little bit.

Great small hotel in a very good spot. The room size was fine for NYC and good decor. Good breakfast selection. Very comfortable and easy place to stay.

They need to train bewtter their reception employees particularly a lady that was on duty the day we arrive Sat. 17 because she was most unwelcomed and of little help. The situation changed after another reception host took over who was most friendly.

For a Labor Day week end visit to NYC, the hotel (and Venere) offered very cheap prices compared to vitually every other hotel we looked at. We liked the lobby decor and the colorful room decor. THe rooms were onthe small side, but very clean. The continental breakfast, at $19 per person, was a rip off.

Great mid-town location, yet hotel room (facing Madison Av.) was very quiet. Great decor throughout hotel and staff was very friendly.

Nous avons séjournés au Roger Williams lors d'un court séjour de 3 jours à NewYork. Le personnel est très compétent et sont soucieux de votre bien être. L'Hôtel est bien situé à quelques coins de rue de la Fifth avenue et Broadway ainsi que de TimeSquare. Notre chambre n'était pas immense mais très confortable pour notre court séjour. Le déjeuner à l'hôtel est suffisamment varié, bon et l'endroit plaisant mais toutefois un peu cher pour un style "buffet" (+30$USD). Nous y retournerions.

The price that appeared on my receipt from Venere said 129.00 USD per night. Only after making the reservations I noticed that somewhere below in the email it says "15$ service charge". What it means is 15$ per day, which adds to city tax, and some other tax, summing up to 166$ per night. Even though the hotel is really good, I feel that its not honest to give such partial information before reservation is made, so that I have to find out that each night is 37$ more than what I expected. This is not the hotel's fault - the hotel is indeed excellent, but I will think twice before ordering through Venere again. One more thing - in some rooms in this hotel the window is blocked by the bed. If you'd like the window to be accessible, you should explicitly ask for this.

Great location just a brief walk to Times Square but quiet - great access to subway and wonderful staff all around. Nice cheerful and well done room with great work area. I would definitely recommend.

My stay at the Roger Williams was perfect. It made my visit to NYC very pleasant. The staff was most helpful.
