Hotel Nyma, the new york manhattan - New York

Located in korean street and very close to Macy's, subway and 5 minute walk to Times Square. We slept here only one night and we appreciated it. It's very expensive!

The entrance is clean and modern looking, other than checking in there was no interaction with the staff. I was very dissapointed with the smoke in the room, and the noise. I did have concerns about the 3rd floor, but the staff mentioned the other room would be smaller than the one we got. I had to unplug the refrigerator because that was loud, in addition the traffic noise and noise from laughter/talking etc from the outside was just horrible. This went on until 5am. The hotel would do well with investing in some good windows to eiminate the problem, I could not reccomend this hotel to friends and I would never stay here again.

We stayed in New York 9 days in January. The hotel location was excellent and so was the spaciousness of the room; the bed was really a king size, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast provided was ok (in NYC a continental breakfast in a hotel can cost up to 40$!). Everything was satisfying except for the room heating system: the first three days it worked well, but then it broke. I called the reception and they fixed it promptly, but the next day it broke again, and so on for the remaining of the stay. The temperature outside was down to 15°F, so it was freezing!! I'd reccomend that if it happens to you, ask immediately to change the room and not just to fix the system!!

The hotel is the best option for holiday travellers as well as business people.

Good value for money. Excellent location, close to empire state building, times square, fifth avenue, macy's, subway and trains. Breakfast included, it is simple, but ok with bagels, ceral and some fruit (the most negative about the breakfast is the use of disposable cups and plates, it produces so much waste...).

Great hotel for the price. My first room had a view to the Empire State, but was rather noisy. I asked a quiet one and got it: perfectly quiet in the middle of Manhattan. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast included in the price.

Good hotel with breakfast included. We stay 8 nights in a room with king bed size and I will recommend it to everyone. The hotel is in Little Korea with a lot of restaurants and really near of Empire State, Broadway and Times Square. The room was really clean, with all facilities. We really enjoy it!

L'hotel è in una posizione centralissima, vicino all'Empire State Building ed alla 5th avenue. Camere pulite e non rumorose. Offre incluso nel prezzo il servizio di prima colazione a buffet di discreta qualità, ma la stanza dove viene "servita" è davvero piccola specie in relazione al numero di camere. In enerale il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono ma un pò di gentilezza in più del personale non guasterebbe!

El hotel esta muy bien ubicado, a metros de Empire State y de la 5 Avenida. La primera impresion del lobby es la de un hotel muy sencillo pero la habitacion que me asignaron era comoda, con vista a la calle, con un baño provisto de todo lo necesario y microwave, cafetera y frigobar. La relacion precio-calidad es buena. Volveria.

Siamo stati in questo albergo per 9 notti e non abbiamo mai avuto problemi.Al nostro arrivo sono stati molto gentili e disponibili nel darci una camera con vista Empire State Building all'ottavo piano. La pulizia delle camere è buona con cambio giornaliero di asciugamani, letto a due piazze, tv a schermo piatto, doccia con getto d'acqua forte e acqua calda. L'unica pecca è la sala per la colazione, troppo piccola e affollata, spesso bisogna aspettare per potersi sedere. L'albergo è in un'ottima posizione, la fermata della metropolitana è a 50 metri e a piedi si arriva in un quarto d'ora a Times Square.

I regularly fly to NYC and Red Roof Inn Manhattan definitely is good value. I could have stayed at the Hilton and Towers for the same price but prefered Red Roof Inn because of its great location (especially close to several subway lines), free breakfast and free internet connection. Breakfast is good and abundant, but the staff there is not always friendly, and the room where it is served looks extremely sad and is very noisy. And although rooms are nice and very clean (but somewhat too noisy as one can here everything that goes on in the halls outside the rooms), public spaces are really neglected. There are only two slow elevators for 16 floors and the floor in the elevators is nearly always dirty (the carpets there should be vacuumed several times a day but the staff do not seem to bother, which is really sad as the hotel is much better than it first looks when you arrive). For its ratio price / quality, I would definitely recommend Red Roof Inn Manhattan, although not for a romantic escape to New York but more for business travelers and people in general who want to get good value for their money.

It was my first time in Hotel Red Roof Inn Manhattan. I am very satisfied with room, hotel surroundings and quietness. The only problem is the breakfast room: too small and crowded.

I reserved a non-smoking room, and was assured I was getting one when I checked in. The room had an ashtray for its occupants, and the floor was certainly not non-smoking. The room was on the fifth floor, facing the street. There was an intolerable level of street noise, keeping me awake until 4 am. I do not recommend this hotel unless you are certain you are getting a quiet room on one of the higher levels. Breakfast was a very non-aesthetic experience in a very busy room.

We had problems because they did not accepted a prepaid credit card because it had no name in the front even if it was signed by me in the back, this was not specified in the web in fact we used it to book, they did not even let us go in the room without first go in a bank and give them all cash (two italian girls in the evening in Manhattan..) also when we stated that we had problems in withdrawal...I have no words for this service... To reach the hotel is very simple from Penn Station but the indications of your website were wrong and confusing.

I stayed here for the first time for 3 nights. Rooms are basic, but clean. Noise from broken ice machine in corridor was dreadful and despite us asking reception if they could turn it off, they didn't. Staff at reception were quite surly at times - they need to be a bit more welcoming! Location of hotel is excellent. Good for a cheap visit but not luxurious by any standards. Breakfast a nightmare - tiny room, too many people with nowhere to sit - who wants to eat standing up?

The room was newly remodeled & very clean. It was the best value for the price. Room was small, but what we expected in New York. We went everywhere on the subways--never needed a taxi. Hotel has a great location: one block from Empire St. Bldg. & 2 blocks from 2 different subway stations. Continental breakfast was average, but appreciated. Able to store luggage until flight. Nice staff. Hallway noise could be heard, but we could not hear neighbors at all. Street noise a little loud on lower floors. Great experience!

We stayed this hotel for 2 nights. The room is good, just little small but its OK. Location is great.

My sister and I stayed overnight at this hotel after deciding to take a last minute trip to New York from Bermuda. I was very impressed by the price being it was literally last minute and was located right in Mid town where hotels can usually be very pricey. I found the rooms to be of good size, again when staying at some hotels in Manhattan they can sometimes be the size of a shoe box... Red Roof offers a nice continental breakfast and I found the staff to be very friendly... Over all I would stay again and would also recommend this hotel to others...
