The hotel is located on West 103rd Street, near Central Park West, on the northern edge of Manhattan's Upper West Side and just steps from the subway stop (trains B and C).

The room was a little small for my liking. There were no lockers to put your things in, so everything had to go under the beds and couldn't be locked away. There are limited bathrooms on each floor, so you end up waiting your turn. The staff are friendly, it's cheap and very close to the 103rd street subway stop.

Great hotel and your facilities are very confortables. Your personal is good and professional with your competencies and they help to me when I needed becuse I hurt my feet in the NYK´s metro. Great people and is easy found friends and partners to make short trips in the city.

The hostel is at a great location, but for that price you should not expect something special. If you are frugal and just search for place to sleep this is probably a good choice, if you don't want to spend a lot of money. I was in a 6 bed dome, and it was very clean there, bbetter than expcted! I also had luck with my roommates: They were really quite, and sleeping therefore wasn't a problem at all... (well but you will probably have different roommates if you go there, hopefully they are also quite ;-)) The big disadvantage is that there is only one shower in the first floor (didn't check on the other floors), and therefore you probably may have to wait a long time, depending when you get up. I was lucky the first day, because I got up very early... and luckily on the second day I wanted to start slow and therefore had enough time to wait - then the shower wasn't that clean anymore, but still usable ;) So if you just search a cheap place to sleep and don't expect more than a bed in a (clean - at least when I was there) room I recommend this hostel, expeciall because of it's good location direct at the subway and Central Park!

From JFK international airport take the Jfk Expy for 645 m. At the Rockaway blvd east/Belt Pkwy west/Van Wyck expwy(I-678)/Belt pkwy east/so conduit ave(RT-27 E) sign follow Nassau Expy for 1.2 km. Then at the Kennedy airport/Belt pkwy west/No conduit ave/Van Wyck expwy/Whitestone bridge sign follow the motorway I-678 for 6.2 km. Once arrived at the La Guardia airport/Triboro br/Grand Central Pkwy sign follow the Grand Central Pky motorway for 11.1 km. At the Hoyt Ave sign follow the I-278 motorway for 1.7 km. Than at the Manhattan/Randalls-Wards is/Downing Stadium/Bronx(I-87 N)/Upstate NY/New England sign take the Triboro bridge for 3.8 km until New York. Then at the Fdr Dr/Harlem River Dr/125 St-2 Ave follow Dr Martin L King Jr Blvd-W 125th St for 1.8 km. Turn left, follow 7th Ave for about 975 m then turn right, follow W 103rd St until you reach the hotel.
From LaGuardia international airport follow Marine Terminal Rd-Airport Exit for 181 m Turn left, follow Ditmars Blvd for 127 m. At sign Grand Central Pkwy/Triboro br. follow the motorway Grand Central Pkwy for 1.2 km. At Hoyt Ave sign follow the motorway I-278 for 1.7 km. At the Manhattan/Randalls-Wards is/Downing Stadium/Bronx(I-87 N)/Upstate NY/New England sign take the Triboro bridge for 3.8 km until New York. Turn left, follow W 57th St for 550 m and at the Boat Basin/79 st sign turn right, follow the motorway Rt-9a for 3.1 km. At W 96th St sign turn right, follow W 96th St for 431 m. Turn left, follow Broadway for 1.2 km. Turn right, follow Cathedral Pkwy-W 110th St-Central Park N for 674 m. Turn left, follow Manhattan Ave and then turn left again on W 103rd St.

By train
From Grand Central Station take the green subway line (4,5,6) until Lexington-3rd Ave then switch to train B (orange line) and get off on 103rd Street, just steps from the property. From Pennsylvania Station take train C (blue line) and get off on 103rd Street.

By airplane
From JFK International airport take the New York Airport Service Express Bus for Midtown Manhattan/West Side until Pennsylvania Station, then follow the indications above. You can also take the Super Shuttle Manhattan, which offers a shared door to door service to any address in Manhattan, including all hotels. Another option is to take the Air Train Jfk till the Howard Beach subway stop. The blue line of the underground will take you to 103rd Street, just steps from the property.

The Central Park Hostel & Inn features a recreational lounge with a TV area, a reading room and a fully equipped kitchenette complete with microwave and fridge, where guests are welcome to prepare their meals.

Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel.
