Excellent location of the hotel. Efficient and friendly staff. Extraordinary view from the upper rooms. This hotel is perfect for people going around the city all the day long, taking small breaks at home.

This was my second trip to Manhattan. It was a 16th birthday treat for my daughter. 373 was a very safe place to stay in and the location was very central. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Although I was a little disappointed with the size of the room- cos' it was too small and we couldn't see much through the windows outside. The price quoted on the web was less than the final bill with so much tax added on to it- which was a bit annoying. The room was good enough to put our heads down for a comfortable night's sleep because we were out the whole day.Overall our stay was pleasant and I would recommand it to anyone.

Very well located. Easy access to main places in Manhattan. Near the subway on 34th st. Bedrooms are neat. Maybe a little bit small for two but anyway the overall stay was pretty nice.

Good location and decent room (given the location). The only issue was the loud AC, and the air being pushed directly towards the bed. In the small room, it was hitting right in the face.

We checked in on Tues and didn't have a working TV until Sat. afternoon. We had made several calls to the front desk and wasted at least two hours over the course of our stay waiting for a technician to fix it. On checking out I asked for a discount on our bill because of this, and was given two coupons for coffee and rolls at the adjacent restaurant. No one seemed to be in charge, problem solving was almost non-existent. The bed was called a queen, but she ruled a very small country. It looked and felt like a double. The room was teeny. We travel with only carry-on luggage and there was no room for anything to be stowed. The closet was a joke. Look elsewhere, I will the next time.

This is the noisiest hotel I've ever stayed in! The traffic noise at night sounded like the window was open. The rooms are very small, with very small bathrooms. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, the staff are friendly and the location is fantastic. However the noise and light levels (there are no curtains) would put me off returning. This is NOT a "boutique hotel" as they claim, it's more like a motel with slightly more stylish decor (there's no common space, no breakfast or food available etc), so it's OK if you can cope with the noise and if you get a good price. Just remember to pack really good ear plugs, but don't pack much else as there are no wardrobes either! Remember also that NY taxes will be added to the price you see on venere.com to get the final price you'll pay.

I stayed here for 3 nights in March 09 and it is relatively cheap for central NY, but you get what you pay for. A very small room with minimal hotel services. A good location though. Room was clean but no wardrobe, no safe deposit box, no hairdryer, no shower gel, television not working, security guards patrolling with ridicuoulsy loud walkie talkies at 2am in the morning, a bathroom where you knock everything over - you know the kind of thing. Reservation and booking was also a complete mess up. I was charged twice while my travel partner didn't have a reservation. Refund was put on someone else's credit card. Staff were very friendly but not always competent. Besides creDit card mess up also asked for a hairdryer. It appeared for one night then disapeared again. Asked three more times - nothing. Gave up. Wouldn't stay here again.

Rooms were very clean, well equipped but, as is typical for NYC, small. Desk man knowedgeable and friendly. Bed comfortable, excellent linens.

The room was equivalent to a cupboard and the price was too high. The air conditionning was noisy and embarrassed us. We had to sleep with earplugs. The only public area was the reception. No place for breakfast ; we had to go to the pub next door.

A great location across the block from the Empire State Building, I would highly recommend this new hotel.

Room needs closet space (3 hangers on the wall is insufficient); windows could do with more glazing to keep noise out (if facing main street) but bearable; more lobby space; needs luggage storage area; staff need a little more training in responding to questions/queries relating to costs of items/services ... I see that as a BIG management negative!!

It seems that there is soundproofing in walls between rooms, which is great. unfortunately i was awakened at 2AM by someone coming off the elevator talking loudly into his cell phone. Would be nice to have soundproofing against hallway noise. (I did request a quiet room away from the elevator but when I checked in none were available).

My only complaint was that the elevator and hallways were a little loud. Other than that, this was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in in New York City. I have been to New York 15 times. The bathroom was phenominal. I got a little lost and didn't realize that the closest subway stop was at Empire State Building. This is a great place to stay.

As first timers in New York, this hotel suited my sister and I perfectly. Although it is small and not one of the cheapest, the location is fantastic, and the staff were very helpful. If you are not planning to spend too long in your room, it is ideal. The bathroom was spotless, shower was great, and clean towels were delivered daily. Great spot for the young traveller with a bit of money.

The staff was amazing. Jose and David, I think were there names, were incredible friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but if you're staying here you shouldn't be hanging out in your room anyway. I highly recommend this hotel but also want to keep it a secret.

Hotel 373 is a fantastic hotel. It's no good for big families (like I have back in Ireland) but if you are working/networking/hanging out on your own, or with a partner with whom you have a really close relationship - i.e. can share a slightly cramped room but with a huge bed then - happy days! The round the clock internet connection and free local call is great and it is so well located that you just cannot go wrong. Staff really helpful but not affected in any way - they are genuinely friendly. I will definitely be back.

Rooms are tiny, but well appointed. Staff was nice. I would recommend for a short stay--no real closet and no clothes bureau. I recall the web site saying that there are robes, but my room didn't have one.
