Wonderful! My son and I enjoyed our stay immensely. What a lovely, peaceful oasis from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Perfect. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were fantastic, also.

The ONLY problem was with our air conditioner. We should have reported it to the staff sooner as they were understanding and attempted to assist. Our room was too warm overnight (the only time we were in the room). We would put the air con on and it would turn itself off before the room was cool. When we turned the temp. down it stayed on all night, making a constant humming noise. We found it impossible to find a comfortable, constant room temperature. All other aspects of our stay were perfect and your staff are absolutely wonderful.

We were delighted with the Casablanca Hotel. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding. Everyone from the concierge at the front desk to the cleaning staff in the hall was a pleasure to deal with. They seemed intent on making us feel welcome and our business appreciated. The hotel has a space on the second floor which is open 24 hours with complimentary coffee, teas and bakery items available at all times. Complimentary wine is served along with cheeses, fruits and other hors d'oeuvres from about 5:00PM until about 7:00 PM. Parking is available adjacent to the hotel at a reduced rate of $25.00 for 24hrs, all in. For those interested in theatre, the location is excellent. We would recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a nicer facility in this area. Sine the hotel is located on a busy street, we would suggest requesting a room that does not front on 43rd Street.

The hotel staff was fantastic! Excellent service and attention to detail. We really enjoyed Rick's Cafe as the 'recovery room' - the place to stop and relax between shows, shopping and the general hustle-bustle of TImes Square.

As a single woman in her 50's, I was made to feel as if I were their most important guest. The hotel ambiance is welcoming and inviting, the staff from concierges to housekeeping were courteous and attentive, and the other clientele from diverse countries were also courteous and interesting to talk to over coffee/snacks, breakfast in Rick's Cafe. The piano in the Cafe lounge was a definite plus, the king bed super comfortable, the marble bath appointments luxurious, the decor imaginative. Thanks, Merci, Gracias, etc.

Stayed for three days in New York. Hotel in a superb position just off Times Square but was a delightful peaceful haven from all the hustle and bustle of the city. Cheese and wine evenings an excellent idea. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. All in all a lovely place stay and would certainly recommend to friends and family and go back again ourselves.

Brilliant hotel. Surprisingly quiet rooms considering location (corner of Times Square). Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast included in price. Free tea/coffee and pastries all day. Complimentarly cheese/nibbles/wine/champagne every evening. Room a little small and fairly pricey, but what do you expect in the centre of New York. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Great place in the heart of New York and an island of quietness and friendliness just around the corner of Times Square. The price is quite high, but like everywhere in this city and take into account that taxes of about USD 50+ are added to the room rate. Nevertheless it's worth.

This hotel was excellent value! A home away from home in a city like NYC. A stay at the Casablanca is not anonymous, the wine reception in the late afternoon is an excellent way to get to know the other guests. I would certainly stay there again. My best stay in NYC so far.

This hotel is highly recommended for cleanliness, service and attitute of staff and location. Nothing was too much trouble and there was a personal touch in caring for guests' needs. Excellent hotel, cannot recommend highly enough. Staff very welcoming and accomodating. Champagne in room on arrival as we were celebrating wedding anniversary. Location excellent, just off Times Square but hotel itself is very peaceful and a total contast to the buzz of the surrounding area. Good size, clean room, just a little noisy due to outside air conditioning units (our room faced back of hotel). Noise however did not disturb our sleep. No noise whatsoever within hotel. Good breakfast, 24-7 coffee etc and cheese and wine reception every evening really made our holiday something special.

We were upgraded to a larger room with an enormous bathroom. The location is at Times Square so we could walk everywhere and the rooms were surprisingly very quiet!! The free availability of the restaurant and lounge, 24/7, as well as the drinks and snacks throughout the day are a great bonus, as was the use of the internet. Hot and cold beverages, pastries and fruit were always available, and staff was very helpful and courteous. They went out of their way to supply natural yoghourt and low fat cereals especially for us as we requested a low sugar and low fat breakfast. They were fantastic. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to all our friends. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay in NY.

We were upgraded to a King Suite, however this was at the front of the hotel and was exceptionally noisy due to 24 hr construction work, traffic and noisy room air conditioning units. The rooms are NOT sound proof as advertised. Our room was very clean and the hotel staff generally friendly especially in Rick's Cafe. Wine and cheese between 5 and 8pm and all day tea and coffee are nice touches. However there are not enough tables at breakfast time and unless you are early you have to sit on a low settee or chair for breakfast. The intolerable noise made for an indifferent stay - in spite of an upgrade - considering the price. This isn't a "true Oasis" as they advertise by any means and we wouldn't return.

Great welcome when we arrived and we were upgraded to a larger, king sized room. I requested a quiet room and when arriving at the hotel and realising its close proximity to Times Square, I couldn't believe it would be possible to get a quiet room.... but it was! The reception and concierge staff were great, nothing was too much trouble, they were knowledgeable about New York and given our short time here advised what we could do. They even found me a charger for my mobile - phew, lifesaver. The wine & cheese evenings are a great idea and nice to unwind after a busy day. Just wish the hotel had a hotel bar for later on. Rooms are clean and very comfortable with everything you need. I usually like a kettle in my room, but with the cafe open all the time, this was no problem. We'll definitely come back if we return to NYC.

Wt stayed in a standard double room It was quite small and the air conditioning was very noisy but apart from this the room was very clean and there were fresh towels every day. The best part about our stay was the day room where we could get soft drinks and newspapers to read all day . The internet access was excellent and made it so easy to maintain contact with home The cheese and wine evenings made it a very convivial atmosphere. I have never experienced hospitality like this before . The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Casa blanca was very convenient for theatres and the shops and Tonys restaurant next door served excellent food at reasonable prices ( it does get very noisy though so perhaps not the place for a quiet romantic meal for 2. We really enjoyed our stay at the Casa Blanca and perhaps next time we would opt for a bigger room .

Casablance is a well-run, friendly place. The breakfast is reasonable and the free evening wine and cheese nis nice, too. The Casablanca can only be described as a home from home. It was a perfect haven of tranquility set just off Times Square, the location could not have been better. The staff were very attentive and could not have done any more for you. When I book with Venere I didn't get a room option and when we arrived at the Casablanca our room and bed were extremely small. We asked at reception if we could move to a bigger room and were told that there was nothing available for that night but they would move us to a superior room the next day for the duration of our stay at no extra charge - what more could anyone want!! The room we transfered to was perfect and the size of room and bed was what we had come to expect from hotels in USA. We absolutely loved it and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone travelling to New York - A 'little jem', 5 stars!
