Belnord Hotel - Manhattan, New York

The room is small for two guests, no wardrobe. The fixed showerhead to the wall is too high to use for me and warm water doesn't come uniformly. No dody soap. No light on the desk.

Location wise, this hotel is very convenient. The room is very small, as I understood from the reviews of this hote. So it's not a problem to me. My problem with this hotel is that when my shower needed to be fixed and the mechanic told me that the tub must not be filled with hot water because it would lead to a leaking problem. Also, wireless internet connection never worked. The guys in the front were not helpful. I am sure that many other customers had similar problems with this hotel, but relatively cheaper and conveniently located, the the hotel has not taken seriously such negative criticisms. Then many other future customers would complain in the same way...It's a pity...

The room for the first night was very, very small, maybe sufficient for one person. After we asked for a bigger room, it was changed immediately, then it was ok. The hotel is perfectly situated beside the Broadway, subway station is 1 min away, Central Park a 5-10 in walk. I would do it again.

the room is very small,the air conditioning of room is little noisy,but it is very convenient to downtown living in this hotel. If you only want to find a place to sleep at night,it is a good choice.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, and although the room was small this wasn't a problem. The area around the hotel was very safe, and there was a subway just one block away. The problem was the noise from the hallway - the noise from doors being opened and closed kept waking me up, the walls must have been very thin! The bed wasn't particularly comfortable, and the pillows were the paper thin variety.

The hotel is located in a nice quite area of city on the upper west side 3 blocks from Central Park. Subway station 1 block away.The reception staff were not very friendly no good morning or have a nice day. Some of them their English was not great!The hotel is clean,quite and the bed was comfortable. The room size maybe a problem, my room was small but as I was staying on my own it was ok. If two people were staying it would be very tight for space.

The room and bathroom were extremely small, but they were clean and well appointed, absolutely no complaint. the room was fine for one person for two nights. It would have been very crowded for a couple. Any longer than two nights and I would have got frustrated by the size of the room

Rooms are exceptionally clean, towels and bedding changed daily. Although room was small, it was adequate for time spent in room. Good location,near central park and close to subway station. Reasonably priced hotel for New York.

Very safe and convenient to the metro. Many restaurants and markets nearby. Our room was very clean, but VERY small. The concierge was really helpful and the hotel held luggage both before we were able to check in and after we checked out.
