The hotel is in a bit of a seedy part of town, though perfectly safe, and the walls are paper thin so you hear everything outside all night. I was uncertain whether the sheets had been washed or not, but there was an overall feeling that the place was not so sanitary. Hot water only came at certain times of day when the taps were run for >10 minutes. The breakfast served in the "canteen" upstairs was actually surprisingly delicious - both the Western and Indian style breakfasts were good. Service was not amazing, but the waiter was friendly and cheerful. The food was not cheap but for tourists was about right. When we first arrived in the middle of the night, because the "luxury room" we had requested was not available we were put in the "Presidential Suite" (though I do not believe it has housed any presidents in the past) -- it was basically a normal room with some extra beds and a table. The next day we moved into the "luxury room" which was half the size but perfectly fine (also listed as half the price). I was afraid they were going to pull a fast one and try to charge us for the presidential suite. In fact, the bill was entirely fair and reflected what we reserved online. That said, it was probably about double the price we should have paid for such a room (but this is everywhere in Delhi). I don't think I would voluntarily stay at this hotel again, but if again faced with having to choose between here and a $500/night luxury hotel I would consider staying here. When we checked out the clerk at first refused to take VISA, but later agreed to accept it.

Ever wonder why this hotel seems to have plenty of rooms available? It will simply take bookings and relocate you to some other hotel in the neighbourhood as they see fit. I arrived there after a long flight late at night, only to discover I had been bumped to another place. The other place was ok, but no hot water and located in the middle of dozens of motorcycle repair shops. I probably do not need to elaborate on the amount of noise in the morning... Stay away from this place. They just try to trick you.
