The Hotel is very plesant, very cleen with excellent service. It is a bit far from the center for travvellers who are interested in sightseeing. The surrounding area is not so pleasant but you can find anything you need in the vicinity from travel agencies to restaurants and money exchange.

This was good basic hotel. The staff were very good and always looking to help. The food was a big surprise as we found the restaurant we chose was not open we went back to the hotel and went up to the roof which with it,s plastic furniture was not really what we were looking for but, the service and the food was excellent, some of the best we tasted in India and believe me why tried Indian food for breakfast lunch and dinner paying a lot more than here. The only criticism I would make is there needs to be a better presented transport option not just leaving it to the travel desk which is not part of the hotel also telling you what is around the hotel. When you get your bearings the park is left out of the front door as is the Metro. There are places to eat and shops not far left or right so go out and walk around if you are not confident ask at the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in August as well as in September of 2009. One good service the hotel offered was to keep our two suitcases in their storage so that we did not have to transport them back and forth. The staff were very courteous and polite. The complimentary airport pickup was done just as promised. The hotel also arranged a prepaid taxi on both the occasions at the time of checkout. There was construction of a restaurant going on at the time of our stay and this contributed to the rather unkempt appearance at the time of our stay, but the rooms were kept well. The first time around, we got a very small room, but they made up for it by giving us a very spacious and well decorated room during the second stay. Serving the complimentary breakfast through room service was a nice touch. Staff were very much service-oriented and pleasant. Overall, I would recommend Ananda hotel and am sure that I will visit them again.
