In border of a park and close to the railways station and the Old City with few restaurants, a picturesque old hotel of 2 stories. No lift. Entirely non-smoking but in a patio. Banal rooms but excellent shower with hairdrier. Toilets separated. If you don't previously order the breakfast, impossible to get a coffee or an orange juice. Closed after 6, you have to use a code. A lot of very nice cats in the patio.

The owners were very warm and welcoming. The Hotel was in a great location next to a park (with good equipment for children) and near great restaurants. The breakfast was well worth the cost.

If you choose to stay here, make sure and check-in early, because the staff leaves at 9:00 pm and the hotel becomes self-service. There is no staff on site during the night. Quite odd, don't you think? When we arrived, yhere was no one at the desk and the door was locked!

A very affordable and homely hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. They also have bikes for hire at a really affordable price, so we hired them for the day and went exploring. Very kind owner.

Misled by your comments "Small remaining old-fashioned French Hotel"... not very French...thought it was closed down when we arrived. Realised we could not gain entry until 17:30 so returned at 17:26 only to be rebuffed. After 200k travelling we were not amused. The owners were not blessed with the usual French charm and didn't seem to like the job too much.

Very friendly and helpful. I left my mobile phone behind and they took the trouble to find my husband's number on the phone, call it and offer to send it back to me - talk about service!!!

Simple, old-fashioned town centre hotel with lots of character and very friendly owners. Breakfast is a real treat and excellent value.
