Nice Hotel at the lake, harbourview, public Restaurant (Pizza)with seats outside, very popular to other visitors. Centrally located, also in walking distance to the train station. Swiss 3* might be 4* somewhere else. Cosy place. In june 09 was an open air film festival close by, mysterious sounds until midnight.

Rooms are small, very basic & not well insulated and it was quite noisy late at night so take earplugs! Hotel is separated from the restaurant / bar (different ownership) but you receive a ticket for breakfast.

The room was very simple without any decorations. The receptionists were very friendly and kind.
How to reach Hotel Touring-au-Lac
By car
From the highway, take exit Sèrriere and follow the indications to Neuchâtel/centre, the harbour and then to the hotel, which lies on the lake front.
By train
Neuchâtel railway station is only a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
By airplane
Zürich airport is about 160 km from the hotel.
Bern airport is about 50 km away.
From both airports, take the airport shuttle service to the nearest railway station and go by train to Neuchâtel.
