Hotel Nerja Club - Nerja

I found my stay at the Nerja Club very relaxing and enjoyable. My room was clean and tidy with a plasma tv that surprisingly showed all the UK terrestrial channels. The bathroom was also very clean with an excellent shower. I also found the air conditioning to be very good. The pool although small was clean. My only criticism here is that the 'shallow' end wasn't very shallow! This would be a problem that ought to be considered for families with young children.There was a large patio for sunbathing with plenty of sun-loungers.My overall impression of this hotel was very good and good value for money.

Small rooms, poor showers. would not stay again.

This is a typical tourist hotel. Good lounge facilities for those who just want to sit around and read or chat. Rooms could be noisy (poor sound insulation). Fortunately we stayed on the 4th floor, but some friends were on the lower ground and had the 'benefit' of the nightly entertainment till 11pm. This did not bother them, but would have bothered me. Going anywhere involved a 15-20 minute walk, which was all uphill coming back. Furniture is looking a bit tired (paint worn and chipped). Free breakfast was quite reasonable. Air con unit was very noisy, but worked well - we used it as a heater first thing, as the weather was so poor. Good value, but not our kind of hotel so probably wouldn't stay there again.

It'isnt a good hotel.

Nerja Club is not too far (15 min walk) from Burianna Beach, which is excellent. The hotel surroundings are not the best, as is common in Spain outside the luxury areas. We also walked to town which was only 20 min. We would definitely consider going to Nerja Club again, depending on their prices.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel this year. I'm not sure if because it was later in the season, but I felt thatt he qulaity of the service was not that good; particularly in relation to both house-keeping (it would be nice to have soap/shower gel replaced each day), and the desk service, which was a little surly. And, they should have a serious look at that breakfast situation and improve it drastically, because the food could be lot better in terms of quality, presentation and choice.

A little far out of town for my like, but on the plus side this was near to Burriana Beach, and also it would appear not to be popular with families, which, as someone who does not enjoy having the offspring of the great unwashed inflicted upon him on a holiday, is just fine!!

Rooms have a bit odd color scheme, with predominantly neon-green furniture.
