Hotel Soula - Naxos City (Hora)

The hotel was excellent, and only about 20 seconds from the main beach. Serviced everyday and ope 24 hours. The brerakfast was a let down at 5 euros each which only included 1 boiled egg 2 slices bread jam marmalade and butter with a fruit juice and coffee. Maybe they ran out of cheese and tomato which other guests had but we were charged the same with no explanation.

Good stay - the rooms are on the small side and the bathrooms are small - shower was small and water went everywhere and ended up with a wet room and there was just simply nothing you could do about it. The staff are very helpful and accommodated us with a delayed arrival with no charges - this was low season.

Travelled with my huband and 2 teenage children. Wireless internet access in hotel a real plus for my son. Although drinks were available at reception, would have liked a kettle in our room for early mornings and late nights. A gift from the hotel when we left was a lovely touch, though I imagine this is only for guests who stay more than 1/2 nights. This was my 4th time in Naxos but last time was 27yrs ago!! Will not wait so long for next visit. Happy for children to wander around without us. Restaurant and shop owners soon knew them and shouted greetings as they passed!

Great location, only 30 meters from the beautiful Aghios Georgos beach and a 5 minutes walk from the centre of town. Our room was quite clean (cleaning every day except Sunday), but the furniture was a bit old. A lot of noise in the morning. Free internet access. Overall, good price/quality ratio. ------ Ottima posizione, solo 30 metri dalla bella spiaggia di Aghios Georgos e a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro del paese. La nostra stanza era pulita (pulizie ogni giorno tranne la domenica)anche se il mobilio meriterebbe una rinfrescata. Molto rumore al mattino (condizionatori all'esterno, porte che sbattono...). Postazione internet gratuita. In generale, buon rapporto qualità/prezzo.

The Hotel Soula consists of 3 or 4 adjacent buildings with clean but small rooms. It is very near (10 metres) from the Agios Nikolaos beach, which is sandy with very shallow sea. The main square of Naxos is 5 minutes away, and in the area there are a lot of restaurants, cafe, etc. The castle of Naxos with its narrow, cobbled streets is about 15 minutes away and another 10 minutes you need to reach the old market. In the island there are many excellent beaches, scenic villages and a lot of antiquites and medieval castles.

Great location,2min away from beach, and 5min away from centre. friendly atmosphere..and Markos was very helpful.

Backpacker/Independent traveller style hotel within easy walking distance of the ferry port and 'falling out of bed' distance to St George's Beach, shops and restaurants. The hotel on-line description is accurate, though my single room was small but the facilities of a fridge and air conditioning were invaluable. Words do not portray the welcome, helpfulness and friendliness of Nicos and his staff, they really do make you feel the hotel is your home, you'll feel sad to leave!
