The Ikaros Studios is a family hotel, offering fine accommodation in Naxos-Chora, on the Cyclades Islands from May to Octomber.

There is no surprise as the description and pictures on the website correspond to the reality. The hotel is very clean, the garden and swimming-pool very pleasant and above all, the owner, Yannis and his wife are very friendly and Yannis even drove back us to the port. We wish we could go back there and we do recommend this hotel. Finally I suggest an interesting visit to the villages of Filoti and Halki, you can easily go there by bus, like the local people, it's a way to meet the greeks, I also recommend a tavern in Chora where the food is delicious, especially the moussaka : 0 Apostoli. 2 nuits du 20 au 22 juin 2008 (40 euros/nuit, sans petit-déjeuner). Résidence très calme, située à environ 5 km du port et du centre-ville (il faut impérativement louer une voiture ou un 2 roues !). Point d'attache idéal pour visiter l'île en voiture : proche de la ville de Naxos (petit-déjeuner le matin, dîner le soir...), à la sortie de la ville donc facile pour partir découvrir l'île ou aller à la plage. Piscine agréable. Naxos est une île encore pas trop touristique. Les paysages montagneux sont magnifiques.

This is a great little place on the out skirts of Naxos. We rented a car from the harbour, which was a good thing but am sure you can get the bus. The hotel was surrounded by farmland, so very peaceful. It had a great swimming pool, which our room opened out onto. I would definitely stay here again, as it was excellent value for money

Very peaceful and quiet surroundings. About ten minute walk into town or to the port. Very nice market in walking distance for breakfast and snack supplies. No breakfast offered so we had to cook in our room. The burners were old and not too reliable. A car to visit the island is a must, but the hotel arranged for one to be delivered to our door.
