Hotel trés bien placé en bord de mer, à une dizaine de minutes du quai des ferrys Accueil sympathique des propriétaires qui parlent trés bien français, bon petit déjeuner Notre chambre était au dernier étage avec une terrasse donnant sur la mer et les plages, point de vue magnifique A recommander

A pleasant family-run hotel. Staff very welcoming and competent.Good breakfast in pleasant surroundings. Good (and free) wi-fi connnection in breakfast/ reception area. Good location on headland between the port and St George beach, 10 min walk from ferry. Pleasant but not large rooms- our's had a small balcony overlooking car park with oblique views over sea and port. Shower recess in our bath room was very small. A pleasant 5-day stay- would go there again.

I had a great stay at Hotel Galini! This family owened/operated hotel was in a ecellent location and was perfect for the price. I would reccommend this hotel to any of my freinds and family and will return to Galini next time we visit Naxos.

This hotel was an amazing surprise. I am a Greek American and from the moment I arrived at this hotel, I felt like they were my relatives, they are an amazing family and made me feel like one of the family, I will definitely go back.

Costas and Giorgio are most welcoming. The hotel is charming and well situated, and for the price, they even offer free internet and wifi. Overall, a very good recommendation for staying and exploring Naxos.

The location is wonderful and the family is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and the view is a typical view of what you would expect from Greece.

The Galini is in a great location, close to the main town of Naxos (5-10 minute walk) yet not right in it. St. George beach is also only a minute's walk from the hotel. However, it is difficult to find, in part because another name, that of a sister establishment, appears over the entrance way, to the front desk. The name "Galini" should be added to the entrance way, and it would have been usedful to have specific instructions on how to walk from the ferry dock to the Galini.

How to reach Hotel Galini
By airplaneThe Naxos domestic airport is located 1 km outside the capital of the island and 2.5 km from Agios Georgios beach. Daily flights from Athens connect Naxos island to the mainland. The flying time from Athens to Naxos is approximately 35 minutes.
Public buses run frequently from and to the airport and taxis always wait outside the gateway.
From the airport follow the indications to Agios Georgios beach, where the hotel is located.
By boat
There are several boat services connecting Naxos to the port of Piraeus in Athens. The journey takes 7 hours by ferry and 3 hours by high-speed ferry.
In the summertime there is also a daily high-speed boat service from the port of Rafina, the nearest harbour to Athens' international airport, that takes 3 hours to reach the island.
Agios Georgios beach is only 2 km away from the port of Naxos and there is a frequent and inexpensive bus service that stops within walking distance of the hotel.
